  • DigitalJonathan Jonathan Phillips (@DigitalJonathan) reported from Bristol, England

@LeeMcilwaine @corylus @BBCSport You’ll never believe it Lee, but you’re wrong. The signal is being cropped on this freeview signal. Cropped on every picture aspect.

  • carkdale Eastville Gas 1️⃣8️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ (@carkdale) reported from Bristol, England

@cleanfeed_ttvr I hope that ITV West Country HD is a priority. 🤞 Freeview 103 currently shows Central West, right down to Penzance. Even if it was just the "HTV" variant carried pan-regionally, that would at least be "less wrong" for Devon & Cornwall than news about Brum, Stoke-on-Trent etc.

  • ajacksost Alan Jackson’s Worldview (@ajacksost) reported from Bristol, England

@MarkC0011 @brianmoore666 Absolutely. It’s channel 237 on Freeview. Who in Britain scrolls to a channel anywhere that far down?

  • Hillchaser Bas (@Hillchaser) reported from Bristol, England

@DonnaB5125 @my90dayfatloss @Kkaiserrr @Mr_W_Carpenter Something to do with latest updates on Netflicks & freeview not working on some samsung tvs

  • mj_symonds Max the prettyboy (@mj_symonds) reported from Bristol, England

I pay license fee pretty much entirely because of how good BBC Four is. It is one of the best channels on television (or at least on Freeview, I can't speak for paid) so to axe it would be a terrible shame. #LoveBBCFour please Auntie Been don't kill your best child.

  • DigitalJonathan Jonathan Phillips (@DigitalJonathan) reported from Bristol, England

@StarchyMarchy @LeeMcilwaine @BBCTwo No, poor freeview signal Tim. Same on every setting.

Freeview Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • OmieAKA Omie (@OmieAKA) reported

@Darrenjs68 @BBCNews Yes. Its almost like all those hundreds of other channels on yr Sky box or Freeview service don't exist.

  • ScotRamsay Scot Ramsay (@ScotRamsay) reported

@lennylaw When you have 6 live TV channels available to all on Freeview, and you show the same thing on 5 channels, and close down the sixth, that's just bollocks.

  • sadmanontheleft Jack Boag (@sadmanontheleft) reported

As someone pointed out, Channel 4 didn’t broadcast Diana’s funeral, putting on kids cartoons instead. It’s kinda their job so that people on Freeview can watch something else while the others broadcast the gloomy ****, particularly in a pandemic where you can’t leave the house

  • AlistairMay Alistair the Unproductive (@AlistairMay) reported

@oashton88 @FinishedZine BBC is a subscription service too. But there's a host of other channels on freeview.

  • juneandnoz June Taylor (@juneandnoz) reported

@scott_steve It is important. But if you don't want to watch it Freeview and Sky are doing other stuff. So change channels. Not a problem

  • watford1881 Stuart Cashmore (@watford1881) reported

Why is Hive Live Match Live Tab not working @WatfordFC Only Freeview tab is available I've secured my seat so I can watch @davem2612

  • vinceunlimited Vince (@vinceunlimited) reported

@jimwaterson At least iPlayer is broadcast via an App on my smart TV therefore gets broadcast as HD. Freeview cannot managed HD on any more than 5 channels and BBC4 ain't one of them. SD is visually poor in big flatscreens

  • xAbbierose Abbie Sims 👩🏼‍🦯 (@xAbbierose) reported

Anyone else unable to get 4seven on freeview? Says service unavailable but is working on freesat 🤔

  • Aurora_UK_LAH Lisa Hetherington (@Aurora_UK_LAH) reported

@AlanFisher Hi Alan, have you any idea why Chauvin trial has been removed from Al J UK Freeview news? So angry/disappointed as was following non-stop coverage for 8 days then went off without explanation yest! Feel let down. Thanks for your excellent work incl impeachment trial.

  • PabloAllelli Pablo Allelli (@PabloAllelli) reported

@GaryinScotland @mandapen Where can't you get Freeview? I can't get all the Freeview channels as I'm about as far away from a transmitter as you can get in the UK, and its not helped by my rubbish aerial, but I can still get at least a couple of dozen channels, even on a bad atmospherics day.
