@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Bluebird0309 CllrJillHoulbrook (@Bluebird0309) reported from Chester, England

I have 100 freeview channels on my tv. Tonight they are all showing utter crap.

@TheWestonMike @JohnJCrace @gordonrlove Ah, yeah you so need a license to watch Freesat or Freeview live. Not if you watch All4 though. That's a streaming service which you don't need a license for. My bad.

  • NotreRene Our René (El Dios) (@NotreRene) reported

@ciscokid1690ao1 @SkySports There are. But that would then involve watching something transmitted by Our Sly. I used to pay £90 a month for what was essentially Freeview. Cancelled it. Never looked back.

Anyone else having signal issues on Freeview with BBC1, BBC2 and ch8? Very pixelated #northlondon @FreeviewAdvice

  • NoirMJ Matthew Black (@NoirMJ) reported

Made the mistake of watching the WDF Darts World Championship on 'Quest' (12, Freeview). It's SO slow that one of the players had a hairline when the match started. Though, the action (if you can call it that) is still better that Paul Nicholson's commentary...

  • MRSM1TH888 🌎🏇🏻GALLOWGLASS 🏇🏻🌏 (@MRSM1TH888) reported

@RacingFlamingo Heard it for years about Channel 4. Heard it for years about ITV since they took over. Mute and just watch the races. The day racing isn’t on freeview tv it’ll do big damage. The producer and team call the “shots”. It’s entertainment not a stand alone racing channel specific.

  • qvcuk QVC UK (@qvcuk) reported

@avraam2000 Hi Maria, apologies for any disappointment. If your TV does not support HD content, you can still watch via your aerial (i.e. Freeview) as we will still be in SD for there. We also have online streaming available via the QVC app or using the desktop version of our website. Joe

@jezzojezzo @GBNEWS Hi Jez..just out interest what platform are you watching this on. Is it Freeview, Virgin or Sky? Are you still getting the problem?

  • Andicurrie Andi Currie (@Andicurrie) reported

The LG C1 oled is incredible! However @LGUK why is the EPG on your freeview so slow and constantly loading? Never had these issues before, its painful to use.

  • CorriganPaul Paul Corrigan (@CorriganPaul) reported

@MediaGuido @netflix That is a false equivalence given geographic spread of their markets. If Ch4, Beeb & ITV had used Freeview and their channels more effectively they could have brought Sky to their knees. An ITV bid seems like a great idea but gov support to gain funds for expansion sensible too

@Andrea25079843 We default to Netflix on such occasions, for content. We also make extensive use of Freeview and iPlayer to serve we parents and our juniors' TV ration. I can't speak to what specific content floats your boat Andrea, but Netflix is our go to subscription and cancel service.
