Jordan Revell (@jordanrevell) reported from Camden Town, England@SkyHelpTeam I've had internet dropouts for the past 3-4 days, up to 4 times per day, plus dropouts often in the last year. It nearly jeopardized my life changing doctors appointment held over zoom today, often times my giffgaff 4g mobile data is faster, I need a solution.

Ari Gork (@arigork) reported from Camden Town, EnglandFamily visiting needed a local sim. Got @giffgaff prepaid & activation was simple & fast. Catch is you need to get a voucher or credit/debit card to load selected bundle as store could not help and needed browser access to activate sim and load bundle. Otherwise 5 stars :)

jenny vaughan (@DrJennyVaughan) reported from Hammersmith, England@giffgaff sort out your ageist “customer care” approach & call & help my 77 year old mum. You don’t even help me to help her you just send us a barrage of data red tape we can’t deal with. This is how elderly people are marginalised by #giffgaff they just won’t make that call.
-
Deborah Murtha (@DebMurtha) reported from London Colney, England@giffgaff Hi! I seem to be suffering a lack of any phone/internet signal, in central London, for the last 40mins or so - any advice?m
-
Wukah (@SoundsWukah) reported from Brentford, England@giffgaff Just like with the last inquiry, that was very unhelpful. Yes, anyone has the ability to take the time to read through the website at the terms and conditions, but this Twitter feed is there to help with specific issues, so don't just refer people to the website. Tks.
-

giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@HelenCleave2 We're sorry to hear this has been going on for a while now Helen, but this can only be sorted via your case. As we are an online mobile network we do not have a customer service number to call unfortunately - giffgaff Jade
-
Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica Virgin Media are 💯 with prompt online support. Always have been. I'm not sure any of the others will reply, at all...

Woody Knows (@Woody3704) reported@crip72012 @hewantswealth I had O2 for a long time and it was fine for work and making calls Until I needed an actual good network with consistent uptime and no 300 ping when I'm playing online games. Giffgaff runs smoother. For what I use it for anyway. That 6 quid extra is honestly whatever.

topdoghoward (@topdoghoward) reported@MartinSLewis A number of phones all latest ones yes not at 15:00 all before but old 2 Nokia nothing came both on giffgaff but Samsung S20 yes maybe only came via 3/4/5G signal I’m guessing

-
TheDePINCat 🐈🌐 (@TheDePINCat) reported.@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back top the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.

My Name is Phil (@philhguk) reported@xxx_kimbo_xxx @EE I used to be with EE then all of a sudden I couldnt get a signal in my own home so I switched to GiffGaff, I still only get 1 bar but at least it works. Considering I live about a 10 - 15 min walk from the town centre the mobile signal here is shite on all networks.

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.
