Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Seaview and nearby locations:
-
Liam Arstall (@larstall) reported from Havant, England@SkyHelpTeam Done many times. The coverage is awful and getting worse. Not sure what O2 are doing, but seems to be impacting Sky, Tesco and GiffGaff - other’s networks my friends use. Used to be very good
-
Darryl Barlow (@Sparky_Darryl) reported from Emsworth, England@giffgaff I have been in touch a few times over the last week or two through my account but never get an update of the mast repair! #NoServiceHere
-
Darryl Barlow (@Sparky_Darryl) reported from Emsworth, England@giffgaff They said this “The engineers that are doing the work on the mast have not given us any updates. The engineers do update our network page, all you need to do is enter your postcode and it will bring up if there is issues in your area and if they are going to be delayed” No Help!

Chris Overthrow (@ChrisOverthrow) reported from Portsmouth, England@brendonvbone I was with giffgaff (o2) and its bollocks. Now with Vodafone. I get decent signal apart from half time. At half time I can get some internet but it's very slow. That's unavoidable with 18k people all using their phones though.
-
Peter Challis (@pachallis) reported from Fareham, England@notmany4benny @carterBFC @SamsungUK One of the disadvantages of living in rural locations. At least you must have beautiful views instead. I had problems with Three and I live 200m from a transmitter where I get flaky voice calls. Apparently I need a Three supplied phone to get VOLTE. Currently on O2/Giffgaff.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jay (@Piercedtradie) reported@EE @bazsharp I went to giffgaff because of EE's terrible Indian customer service. Constantly ****** everything up.
-
giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@gemcq2 We understand. The bot is still learning, so sometimes can get things wrong. Based on your issue we would recommend stating that you need to return the phone, but that there is no option on your account and this should connect you correctly - giffgaff Hannah
-
Fred (@fred6279) reported@cyrilnotes @Fremond_ Go to an MVNO network. Essentially of them except Giffgaff have the same priority as regular customers on the main network. Voxi uses Vodafone and Three and is very cheap so I recommend that.
-
Simon Howard (@essjayaitch) reported@AndrewRangerMP I just read your report on mobile coverage in Wrexham. Are you aware that Tesco and Giffgaff both use the O2 network and therefore their performance should be no different? Also, Three and Vodafone customers can now use each others network since they were merged

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica Virgin Media are 💯 with prompt online support. Always have been. I'm not sure any of the others will reply, at all...
-
giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@TimLinkin It can take up to 24 hours for an agent to get back to you, but it is usually a lot sooner than that. One of the team will be in touch as soon as possible to help. - giffgaff Ann
-
d. (@SugrPuft) reported@AbsoluteLeaNot @thecapitalistw Literally, joined Giffgaff to save £2/month, big error. Voxis signal is goated, just ordered an ESim.
-
Si (@Si_67) reported@O2 It's 2026, and you can't even repair a broken mast in order to restore a mobile phone signal to a village of 17000 people. Reluctantly, PAC obtained. Such a shame after some 30 years of being with your network (Cellnet, BT Cellnet, Genie, O2, Tesco Mobile & Giffgaff). Bye👋
-
Woody Knows (@Woody3704) reported@crip72012 @hewantswealth I had O2 for a long time and it was fine for work and making calls Until I needed an actual good network with consistent uptime and no 300 ping when I'm playing online games. Giffgaff runs smoother. For what I use it for anyway. That 6 quid extra is honestly whatever.
