Giffgaff Issues Reports Near Havant, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Havant and nearby locations:

  • ChrisOverthrow Chris Overthrow (@ChrisOverthrow) reported from Portsmouth, England

@brendonvbone I was with giffgaff (o2) and its bollocks. Now with Vodafone. I get decent signal apart from half time. At half time I can get some internet but it's very slow. That's unavoidable with 18k people all using their phones though.

  • pachallis Peter Challis (@pachallis) reported from Fareham, England

@notmany4benny @carterBFC @SamsungUK One of the disadvantages of living in rural locations. At least you must have beautiful views instead. I had problems with Three and I live 200m from a transmitter where I get flaky voice calls. Apparently I need a Three supplied phone to get VOLTE. Currently on O2/Giffgaff.

  • Sparky_Darryl Darryl Barlow (@Sparky_Darryl) reported from Emsworth, England

@giffgaff They said this “The engineers that are doing the work on the mast have not given us any updates. The engineers do update our network page, all you need to do is enter your postcode and it will bring up if there is issues in your area and if they are going to be delayed” No Help!

  • larstall Liam Arstall (@larstall) reported from Havant, England

@SkyHelpTeam Done many times. The coverage is awful and getting worse. Not sure what O2 are doing, but seems to be impacting Sky, Tesco and GiffGaff - other’s networks my friends use. Used to be very good

  • Sparky_Darryl Darryl Barlow (@Sparky_Darryl) reported from Emsworth, England

@giffgaff I have been in touch a few times over the last week or two through my account but never get an update of the mast repair! #NoServiceHere

  • AOSO113 AOSO113 (@AOSO113) reported

@giffgaff I live in NW2 in London Zone 2. Apparently there's not much more you can do for me. The tweet is just some feedback on the overall service here. Pretty shocking signal situation. Respectfully, it's not like I'm living in the countryside.

  • TanyaAGT 🇺🇦☮️☯️🇪🇺 Grumpy Girdle 😷 💉💉💉 (@TanyaAGT) reported

@lshield2710 We lost signal before bad weather. Must be whatever Giffgaff piggyback on

  • FRibenfors Dr Francesca Ribenfors (@FRibenfors) reported

@CPMumma79 GiffGaff is excellent for cheap monthly contracts. (Around £8-£10 a month but with unlimited minutes and cancel any time)

  • FimTarron Ninja Turtles All The Way Down (@FimTarron) reported

@deffonottommac @Easy_As_He_They YEAH, YOUR'RE A-GOBLIN DEEZ NUTS! **** off Tom. Cant believe I wasted four giffgaff cards for this.

  • Shaun69060014 Shaun (@Shaun69060014) reported

    @mellymeluk @giffgaff It's @O2 their signal us shockingly bad

  • _d0rk__ 🥧 Dork (@_d0rk__) reported

@giffgaff seems lately the data connection in the city centre is kinda flakey. Using a Pixel 6A and indoors in the Arndale/around NQ I can barely seem to get H/H+. Been like this a couple weeks now. Any issues?

  • danob555 Dano (@danob555) reported

@weaver_87 @StockportDiesel @Fee_SCFC Tesco run on O2 network so do Giffgaff I'm Giffgaff have no signal looks like ****** O2 signal

  • richdeanmartin Rich Martin (@richdeanmartin) reported

@NickSan85494149 @O2 It's a really good phone,o2's signal is shocking! Giffgaff runs off the back of it,even worse.

  • LeeAaronP Lee Aaron (@LeeAaronP) reported

I'm not going to go into other benefits, or customer service quality, but the other thing to consider is what network these smaller companies use.. ID use the Three network, Tesco, Sky, Virgin and GiffGaff use the O2 network. EE use their own, and Vodafone/O2 share masts...

  • evelynerose Evelyne Rose (@evelynerose) reported

Hi @giffgaff - I never got a message to say I was being charged for EU roaming but you’ve taken the money from my credit regardless. Don’t think I even went over the limit so how is this possible? Pretty disappointing…
