@SkyHelpTeam Done many times. The coverage is awful and getting worse. Not sure what O2 are doing, but seems to be impacting Sky, Tesco and GiffGaff - other’s networks my friends use. Used to be very good

@giffgaff They said this “The engineers that are doing the work on the mast have not given us any updates. The engineers do update our network page, all you need to do is enter your postcode and it will bring up if there is issues in your area and if they are going to be delayed” No Help!

@brendonvbone I was with giffgaff (o2) and its bollocks. Now with Vodafone. I get decent signal apart from half time. At half time I can get some internet but it's very slow. That's unavoidable with 18k people all using their phones though.

@notmany4benny @carterBFC @SamsungUK One of the disadvantages of living in rural locations. At least you must have beautiful views instead. I had problems with Three and I live 200m from a transmitter where I get flaky voice calls. Apparently I need a Three supplied phone to get VOLTE. Currently on O2/Giffgaff.

@helenvecht @rogermerriman Three seem to have cocked up by lots of people on their network not getting it. I've seen QTs suggesting other networks repeatedly broadcast the alert (as per spec) and Three didn't... I was on GiffGaff and Three, dual sims, so could have been either which got it.

@MartinSLewis I’m with GiffGaff who use the O2 network, and I didn’t receive the emergency alert. I have an iPhone 7, currently running iOS 15.7.3, and I have the extreme and severe emergency alerts switched on in my settings/notifications.

@Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?

@gingerninja1974 @giffgaff It appears it’s the set up of the phone. Which for a emergency alert seems to be failing! You can only receve it if you enable the function in settings, you can only get it if your using a 4G of 5G signal. Not well thought out plan at all!
