Ari Gork (@arigork) reported from Camden Town, EnglandFamily visiting needed a local sim. Got @giffgaff prepaid & activation was simple & fast. Catch is you need to get a voucher or credit/debit card to load selected bundle as store could not help and needed browser access to activate sim and load bundle. Otherwise 5 stars :)

Suhail Patel (@suhailpatel) reported from London, England@Geek_Manager @jaseemabid @watbe @filipecvarela @ThreeUK @EE @giffgaff Three around Central London has been very spotty for me too (although it’s worse on iPhones than Androids, maybe it’s the iOS baseband on Three’s bands). Vodafone have been my go-to pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately the support is abysmal, guess you can’t have it all.
-
jason k (@Benjakev) reported from Hammersmith, England@PoliceConsumer @giffgaff Been on giffgaff since they launched, cheapest and most reliable network I’ve ever used
-
Agathe (@Agathi0usssss) reported from Hackney, EnglandAm I the only one having Data issue with @giffgaff ! Every time it says my 3G is on but it doesn’t work at all 😡😡
-
Lashan (@LashanStuff) reported from Camberwell, England@giffgaff There wasn't, the network just slows down to a crawl/stops functioning from congestion levels that are literally a daily occurrence there
-
Clive J Goodwin (@CliveJGoodwin) reported from Bromley, England@giffgaff Just activated my SIM and ported my old number over from previous network. Seemless process. Fast 4G signal also. 👍
-

-
Lashan (@LashanStuff) reported from Camberwell, England@giffgaff Service was practically unusable around London Bridge station at 5pm yesterday
-
Angela M Sturniolo (@MVautrin) reported from Walthamstow, England@Claytoncast @ThreeUKSupport @giffgaff I was in Bologna Italy for most of the month of May and didn't have any problems. Maybe it depends where you are. Anyway good luck.
-
Enda Guinan (@endaguinan) reported from Islington, England@O2 I’m with GiffGaff. Usually no issues with Mesia messages in any direction, but when it happens, I’m curious about this type of message. It says here’s your message, but there’s no link or attachment.
-
Wukah (@SoundsWukah) reported from Brentford, England@giffgaff Just like with the last inquiry, that was very unhelpful. Yes, anyone has the ability to take the time to read through the website at the terms and conditions, but this Twitter feed is there to help with specific issues, so don't just refer people to the website. Tks.

Sophie 💕 (@SophieGudge_) reported from Stratford, England@l0ulaa I had this issue in Lincoln with Three... had to change to giffgaff as it was so bad!
-
Alvin (@jetsettersw) reported from Lambeth, England@giffgaff and @DHLUSHelp your delivery service is dog shit! Will be using @amazon from now on 👋🏾
-
Adam Rita St. (@RitaAdam95) reported from Barnet, EnglandTechnical problem shouldn’t be an excuse for late submissions, if WiFi failed at your house your personal hotspot can be used as wifi on your laptop (pay giffgaff £25 per month you have unlimited data don’t worry) - there’s always a way to submit your work on time, no excuses 🙂
Giffgaff Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
SJ (@SJTurner93) reported@giffgaff my friend had her phone stolen last night, and is trying to order a new SIM card but the “reset your password” email isn’t coming through. Any chance you can help? 🙏🏼
-
Matthew Pennell (@matthewpennell) reported@RoyalMail Your "Create a returns label" service isn't working properly - every time I fill in the form and submit it, it returns an error. Can you fix it so I can return something to @giffgaff since they don't provide an actual return address, please?
-
Deborah Ellen Curl 🥂🧁💐 (@_liquidsunshine) reported@giffgaff Thanks - I realise this and have of course deleted it and blocked the number but it is the amount of these texts which is the issue. Failing to deal with spam texts infiltrating your Network puts your customers at risk. Is this being considered? #giffgaff
-
F Tekin (@TekinFM) reported@giffgaff Incident Ref: 210702-000149 on 3 July confirming no charges despite the withdrawals. There are others this week, your staff pretending not understanding the problem: 210802-001916 Then a few more for not working logins - not interested! All I need STOP charging!
-
F Tekin (@TekinFM) reported@giffgaff DO NOT use this strange company with no customer services that you can talk to. We purchased their SIM card for a brief period then cancel it by following their website. Despite email assurances 2 months on they are still charging us via DD. DISGRACE!
-
Maria Tickle (@MariaTickle) reportedDecided to change from @giffgaff to @ThreeUK What a complete mistake! Worst service ever!
-
Susie Q 🕯️💛🍃💚🍃 (@smlomax) reported@O2 I'm a Giffgaff customer.
-
Mademoiselle LeVell 3.5% funny ✊🏽 💚 (@Mlle_LeVell) reported@giffgaff Hi just a quick question though about this issue - normally texts I receive from @giffgaff say they are from GiffGaff, but this one didn’t - it had a random 5-digit number. Why would that be the case on this occasion? You can understand why I didn’t just follow the link provided?
-
F Tekin (@TekinFM) reported@giffgaff Anything works with this company? You kept emailing me with you high security two step verifications never works! Is there anything else you can do to frustrate the enquiring public whilst unlawfully withdrawing money?? Very low!
-
Mike (@serachewhi) reported@dcuthbert @giffgaff +1 to this. Having separate accounts is a bit of a faff, would be great to have a single login.
