@giffgaff everyone was receiving two texts a day to offer support , advice and comfort. Through this number we were able to get help for those socially isolating without family support or internet.

Chris Lee (@chrislee1628) reported from Halifax, England

Cancelled PAC, neither has full signal strength in town centre, 3 has better signal strength where I live just up the road from my parents, but same as GiffGaff where I live, so no point in moving

@AkkyYT @giffgaff It’s not giffgaffs fault, it’s just the fact that no one wants to call your stupid dumb ass

  • jonswales77
Jon Swales (@jonswales77) reported from Leeds, England

@giffgaff help needed to transfer my old number. The app or website won’t let me. I sent a message but no reply yet after 30 hours

  • jonswales77
Jon Swales (@jonswales77) reported from Leeds, England

Everything was working well with @giffgaff account until it stopped working and unable to log into account. Many may feel that we have let them down.

@giffgaff I know you wont be able provide support via social media. I was suggesting a phone call to help navigate support and ask necessary security questions.

@TimLinkin It can take up to 24 hours for an agent to get back to you, but it is usually a lot sooner than that. One of the team will be in touch as soon as possible to help. - giffgaff Ann

2/2 when my friends on @o2 and @giffgaff have signal. Get your act together!

@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica Virgin Media are 💯 with prompt online support. Always have been. I'm not sure any of the others will reply, at all...

  • natalyadell

@helenvecht @rogermerriman Three seem to have cocked up by lots of people on their network not getting it. I've seen QTs suggesting other networks repeatedly broadcast the alert (as per spec) and Three didn't... I was on GiffGaff and Three, dual sims, so could have been either which got it.

  • ShazzBakes
    ShazzBakes (@ShazzBakes) reported

@TrickyMcKicky I've 197 lines of data (still awaiting network from 20). GiffGaff, Tesco, iD, Virgin: some named that + "O2" or "EE" but most didn't. So I can't sort properly unless the actual provider is listed. There are 4 Three customers who DID get the alert. So it wasn't a complete ****-up.

  • TheBossnME
    Mark 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported

@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.

@PaulOBrien O2 got it and Plusnet. Giffgaff not and not 3 here! Half my family wiped out in a real emergency 😝

  • gibberingphil
    PhilC (@gibberingphil) reported

@Mattisamazing33 Just check that any of the virtual networks you use have a decent signal where you are, and/or allow WiFi calling. I originally went with giffgaff when I retired, who are great to deal with, but use the O2 network which only works in our back bedroom.

@lukerobertblack The Boomers think that because you spend a tenner a month on a GiffGaff and have a phone that costs £20 a month you are frivolous and don't work hard. And that a one bedroom flat at 12x earnings is just a matter of knuckling down.
