Cllr Mike Young (@mikeyoungUK) reported from Elwick, England@giffgaff I got a payg sim for my spare phone yesterday and spent 30 quid on credit so I can use it as a data tethering device for my laptop at home. Live in a rural area so no fibre broadband option. Sadly, there is zero 4G signal. I thought all networks had this sorted?!
-
Nathan Lawson (@nathanlawsn) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England@adamconder @OllieBrkr @giffgaff I’ve experienced that occasionally on Three also, but I found that restarting my iPhone fixes the problem, so I’m beginning to think it’s actually an iOS issue rather than a problem with the network.
-
Dean (@SixCylinderDean) reported from Sunderland Bridge, EnglandHey @giffgaff can you get onto O2 about the mobile signal in Sunderland City Centre, it’s almost impossible to even load twitter.

Lynda D💙 (@e_gran) reported from Hartlepool, England@RachelOrr I think you can just get a phone…it doesn’t have to have a giffgaff SIM (but check on that). However, GG is so cheap and easy and you can change plans or cancel with no contract. We have both been with them for years and years.
-
Rob Dowson (@RobDowson86) reported from Stainton and Thornton, England@giffgaff Hi I have two queries, basically my phone sale is not appearing in selling my phone and also my revised quote is £13.50 and stating there is white dots on the screen this wasn't a issue when I send my phone to yourselves.

#ImMe | #SAFC | 🇬🇧 🏳️🌈 (@MeInSunderland) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England@1BenBaller @giffgaff It’s on its way back but why annoyed me was that @giffgaff didn’t seem to care. I was told to contact apple support. Erm no. If I buy a phone then I expect it to work

Point of Entry 🏴 (@point0fentry) reported@Lairdysnr Left Vodafone for GiffGaff years ago. I'll never go back to a phone contract. Every 5 or 6 years I buy a reconditioned phone (usually from GiffGaff) to replace the current handset.
-
PhilC (@gibberingphil) reported@Mattisamazing33 Just check that any of the virtual networks you use have a decent signal where you are, and/or allow WiFi calling. I originally went with giffgaff when I retired, who are great to deal with, but use the O2 network which only works in our back bedroom.
-
Lord Miles Spencer LLB (@lordspencer) reported@giffgaff How long to fix mast near SO17 ? Ive been without service for 27 HOURS now

-
TheDePINCat 🐈🌐 (@TheDePINCat) reported.@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back top the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.
-
Jay Smith (Sonic/Dragonwolf) (@DragonWolf5589) reported@tescomobile Says no issues. The problem is it been going on for several months. Reported again for now. Just odd my friends on giffgaff and o2 never have issues and tesco uses the o2 network and I have to use their phone or switch an a pay as you go sim on different network for data
-
LuciaLatinaGomez (@TheLuciaGomez) reported@giffgaff been waiting 24 hrs, NOT ACCEPTABLE. I paid for sometihng and I want a reply now. You cant be a company without customer service, or relying on other customers solving my problems instead of Giffgaff.. "ask the community" LMAO
-
Emily gregory (@emilygreg22) reported@andysyers98 @giffgaff Wow what an awful attitude you have, by the look of your X account you are a landscaper imagine a customer talking to you like that, I bet you wouldn’t appreciate it.
-
gökhan 🇲🇰 🇧🇬 (@gokhansanirimm) reported@giffgaff I hope I don’t run into any problems. I need to get this money this month. Thank you.
-
G (@esnw33430) reported@valuemanmatt @O2 @Joff_L They decided its fair for you to pay through the nose so other "new customers" have a deal. Like many companies, there is no customer loyalty, they want the maximum money out of you for minimum service. Time to port your number to giffgaff, same o2 network and less money.
