@giffgaff Hi, I have done this and also raised a complaint with DPD. You will need to contact DPD for details. I will be forced to initiate a charge back on my credit card soon if things don't start moving forwards soon.

@Plusnet I recommended a friend to Plusnet. He has his new Plusnet SIM but his phone is locked to Giffgaff. He has a PAC code but not a PUK code. If I call you while he is next to me can we sort out the problem so that he can unlock his phone and start using his Plusnet SIM?

@giffgaff As you have not provided your giffgaff account details and when you have a billing or technical query like this, by contacting our member service/agent team they could help you get your queries solved, as they aim to respond to any queries within a 24 hour time frame

@giffgaff Thanks for the help I’ve looked at sending the phone in for repair but it advises about repair costs and a £15 return fee. I want to know if it will be replaced using existing consumer laws a £1300 should last more than 2.5 years Apple agree but said contact GiffGaff the retailer

@giffgaff OR YOU WILL EXLAIN WHY OTHER COMPANIES HAVE A EMERGENCY LINE FOR THIS BUT YOU THINK ITS OK TO LEAVE A LOST PHONE UNLOCKED AND A SECURITY ISSIE FOR DAYS.

@octojon GiffGaff runs on the O2 network so if you have any experience with them it should give some indication

@Pogit @giffgaff That consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015) requires you to prove that the problem was down to a fault or issue at the manufacturer, as opposed to wear and tear or misuse. So you need an engineer's report ideally from Apple to prove the phone was faulty when they made it.
