  • matthewsammons1 Matthew Sammons (@matthewsammons1) reported from Durham, England

@HSBC_UK customer service! Horrific! Came in two weeks ago and received a first class service! Today 1 hour later asking for same request I am still waiting!!!!!

  • millieshorttt millicent short (@millieshorttt) reported from Consett, England

@HSBC_UK @drulum I cannot get access to my account as it doesn’t allow me to press generate code on the app and has been glitching me out of the app for over a day now.

  • emstoth EMMA🐈‍⬛STOTHARD (@emstoth) reported from Durham, England

@HSBC_UK I am having the most frustrating and difficult experience dealing trying to speak to someone and resolve an issue. Chat can’t do it, and your phone lines either cut me out after being on hold for ages or the agent isn’t of help.

  • BaghdadCocaCola James (@BaghdadCocaCola) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@HSBC_UK hi, might be a stupid question I know but is the ‘Personal Customer Number’ the same as the Telephone Security Number?

@HSBC_UK So screw your customers hey instead of working a bit harder?

  • rob_wood Robert Wood (@rob_wood) reported

@HSBC_UK Already submitted via phone. But this means I can’t access my account in any way, does HSBC find leaving its customers without access to their accounts acceptable?

  • TimYouster Tim Youster (@TimYouster) reported

Y'know what @HSBC_UK, sending out automated letters, vaguely threatening to take away peoples access to overdrafts in this time of unprecedented cost of living crisis, is just the sort of thing that pushes people over the edge. People die because of this. Stop it.

  • _craigt_ craigt (@_craigt_) reported

@HSBC_UK @HSBC Yours is the only banking app I have installed that does not work with iOS public beta… actually it’s the only app not working for me… Just saying…

  • chipwolfuk wolfie (@chipwolfuk) reported

@eddieclarke96 @HSBC_UK @john_yes_really This is the thing, most other banks have done nothing for iOS16 yet, HSBC maintain a version whitelist to artificially block versions they're "uncomfortable with", it's juvenile

  • mip2202 mip2202 (@mip2202) reported

@HSBC_UK still waiting for you to enable app login on iOS16… just saying, your colleagues said that devs are working on it, it CANNOT be taking this long ❌❌

  • actwit83 Adam (@actwit83) reported

@mip2202 @HSBC_UK Wasting your breathe mate. Every year the same on the betas and every year people complain and its ignored. HSBC literally only bank who actively block app from working and their policy will never change. The app will start working September as iOS 16 comes out, not a day before.

  • Bexster100 Becky Guest (@Bexster100) reported

@HSBC_UK I’m an existing customer and am trying to open a Flexible Saver but every time I try to apply it says I can’t because I’m not a UK tax resident. But I AM a UK tax resident. Why is this happening? I have only ever lived and paid tax in the UK??

  • ChillliRose Chilli (@ChillliRose) reported

Hi @HSBC_UK your app isn’t working in IOS 16 beta and I can’t access my online banking as it’s done via digital secure key - please let me know how best to manage this?

  • rob_wood Robert Wood (@rob_wood) reported

@HSBC_UK @bat1150gs Hi, the same thing happened back with iOS15 as well and took several months before we could get into our a/c again. I'm overseas and don't have access to a physical key so this is a significant problem. I've logged a complaint but need to see HSBC do more.
