@HSBC_UK How do I make an enquiry about a payment deposit that has been attempted into my old closed account? Tried calling the UK number for non-HSBC customers but it isn’t recognising my old account number? Presumably because it’s a closed account. Please help 🤞

@HSBC_UK hello. I know you don’t allow debit card purchases of cryptocurrencies. What’s your policy on bank transfers to a crypto exchange? Is it the same deal – ie you don’t support it?

Every time I have need to contact @HSBC_UK I'm reminded what a backward and customer-unfriendly organisation it is. Their IVR system + endless holds/delays in getting simple transactions completed is a truly worst-class #customerexperience.

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK This is assuming you phoned a generic fraud number for HSBC and not the crime department of Fraud. It'd be better to get an email address and compile information that way, then someone would most likely call you back. Average call handler can't help you even if they wanted to.

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK This is the same HSBC that struggles to look after customers when they do get scammed right? Like, leaving them on hold for hours, or not showing interest in customer calls right? Or allowing money laundering? Not surprised.

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK It would seem some banks still havent woken up to the fact that fraud isnt only a case of suspected fraud committed on one of their customer BUT a non customer may contact to report fraud by one of their customers.

I played along with a @Visa scam today and got the details of a money mule. I tried to report this mule to @HSBC_UK and they were not interested. They'd "have to speak to the customer" i.e. the mule. Please train your fraud intelligence people to have some intelligence.

@recordedontape @HSBC_UK Had the same issue today! Went into bank. They couldn’t help. Rang online banking to be told there’s an issue with sending PIN codes via email. I can’t access my account at all! I have staff salaries to pay tonight too..
