Wondering if @HSBC_UK will be sending round a customer satisfaction survey following the closure of face to face counter services in selected branches..... #BraveNewWorld

  • jackwenbourne Jack Wenbourne (@jackwenbourne) reported from Headcorn, England

@HSBC_UK applied for advanced current account, rejected as my credit score is 'not high enough' yet with Experian it is 999. Phoned and assistant was no help, and would't explain why or give further info. Can you help please?

For paranoid people, the process of @HSBC_UK shutting counter service & getting business customers to get change from @PostOffice is like a dystonia nightmare. Every single visit is a problem, a different method, like a trick, a game. Ugh. I so miss the lovely HSBC staff.

  • alanbullion2 Alan Bullion PhD (@alanbullion2) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@1988Harrington @Barclays @HSBC_UK I don’t think any of them want to employ actual staff anymore sadly. It’s all apps and self service machines these days. Good 👍 idea though - perhaps part of the Town Hall space could be deployed.

  • TMFeeG THE FEE MG! 👩🏻 (@TMFeeG) reported from Maidstone, England

I bank with @HSBC_UK @HSBC and was referred to the @PostOffice this morning because the counter service in my local HSBC is not actually open as per the TV campaign. It’s in the small print apparently! Even the post office refused to bank our piggy bank money! #poorservice #lazy

  • TheOnlyDroid TheOnlyDroid (@TheOnlyDroid) reported

Honestly amazed by the support @StarlingBank provides for iOS 16’s Betas and how they’re quick; Compared to @HSBC_UK who still prevent loading, take six months to update on a stable release never mind a beta; And who are inherently more business focused than consumer.

  • eddieclarke96 Eddie Clarke 🐝 (@eddieclarke96) reported from Birmingham, England

@HSBC_UK @RenaudGuerin Oh dear. You really don’t like offering customers a service do you? All other banks have accepted iOS 16 public beta. But not you! Does that mean anything to you? It should #hsbc #firstdirecthelp #fail

  • heathercomplain Heather (@heathercomplain) reported

@HSBC_UK please help I’m a Channel Islands customer and have a problem with a Monzo payment which has not appeared in my account.

  • phil_payne7 phil payne (@phil_payne7) reported

@HSBC_UK Jesus help me 🙏 your DMs are as helpful as the call centre. What a shambles.

  • bat1150gs Adam West (@bat1150gs) reported

@leocarr78 @HSBC_UK I haven’t installed as the time hsbc we’re really slow, I want to install to be able to help sort any bugs before main launch, point is that all other banks have added iOS-16 to there apps and hsbc is being really poor on support, it also means there is more chance of hsbc-

  • CodebreakerLDN Codebreaker // Fathom Audio (@CodebreakerLDN) reported

@HSBC_UK Personal. Horrendous experience all morning, bouncing around customer service. No one knows what they are doing. Unbearable. I will be leaving HSBC

  • RenaudGuerin Renaud Guérin (@RenaudGuerin) reported

@HSBC_UK "Since we can't yet officially support our app on iOS 16, let us deliberately break it, just in case it does work like most other apps out there" This is a daft, incredibly user-hostile stance that no other banking app I use has taken. Please reconsider.

  • RenaudGuerin Renaud Guérin (@RenaudGuerin) reported

@HSBC_UK As a customer being asked to jump through such hoops, it'd be much easier to accept if I knew this inconvenience was caused by a genuine technical incompatibility being worked on in good faith, rather than an artificial decision to break something that would probably have worked.

  • JohnPaulWright John Wright (@JohnPaulWright) reported

FFS @HSBC_UK trying to open a current account, already an HSBC customer. Went into branch, told to apply online. Tried online, told to ring. Rang, told I have to go into branch. Absolute **** show. looking elsewhere.

  • Andy_Wheatley Andy Wheatley (@Andy_Wheatley) reported

@AndrewCarrier @MastercardUK @HSBC_UK I’ve often wondered about whoever thought putting ‘OK’ under ‘Error’ was good for user experience and blood pressure.
