  @Louisam78 @frankie_mclean @AVSTTR @scotgov @hearinglossSCO @Stagetext @NRCPD @Daily_Record The bbc subcontracts their live subtitling to RedBeeMedia all of their long serving stenos redundant 18 months ago. I went a few years earlier as quality was moving down the strategy. Interestingly itv have brought back stenos to cover their day time programming for quality.

That's how informed the young people running these channels are about disability issues. I knew then there needs actual disabled people in positions if power before change will come.   The PR line about the @ITV and @Sky merger 'bringing higher quality drama' to ITV fascinates me. Mr Banks vs the Post Office being one example. Sky have had nothing near the cultural significance of that high quality British drama. #ITVSkyMerger
