    @Louisam78 @frankie_mclean @AVSTTR @scotgov @hearinglossSCO @Stagetext @NRCPD @Daily_Record The bbc subcontracts their live subtitling to RedBeeMedia all of their long serving stenos redundant 18 months ago. I went a few years earlier as quality was moving down the strategy. Interestingly itv have brought back stenos to cover their day time programming for quality.

    I worked at @ITV for over 4 years and worked on some crazy pilots, some which did well and others which were scrapped... I really hope the same happens for #TheMaskedSinger. Absolutely awful. 🤮

That's how informed the young people running these channels are about disability issues. I knew then there needs actual disabled people in positions if power before change will come.     I have a device that understands everything in I say in my house but TV channels are unable to properly subtitle without lagging or errors? SO important for hard of hearing folks and people watching in another language or sensory issues...Sort it out @BBC @ITV @Channel4
