    if a public service broadcaster has to participate in a ‘market’, then all a commercial broadcaster has to do is produce better content. ITV doesn’t. Netflix doesn’t. that shouldn’t be made the BBC’s problem.

    @Louisam78 @frankie_mclean @AVSTTR @scotgov @hearinglossSCO @Stagetext @NRCPD @Daily_Record The bbc subcontracts their live subtitling to RedBeeMedia all of their long serving stenos redundant 18 months ago. I went a few years earlier as quality was moving down the strategy. Interestingly itv have brought back stenos to cover their day time programming for quality.

Almost none of them work, all of them take or sell drugs and carry weapons and they all think they're special. Well, they got the last part nailed, they're special alright
