In the FOUR MONTHS since the programme was made, edited, viewed, re-edited and finally complied... no one picked this error up. I find it slightly baffling that the response from ITV was "This was a genuine mistake by the panel. We apologise if this caused any upset to viewers."

@1968Tv I fully agree but there might be an issue on rights. The BBC as well as ITV no longer hold the rights to the Football League and the EFL won't take kindly to unauthorised airing of it's old highlights. They might have to pay extra to screen them.

I went a few years earlier as quality was moving down the strategy. Interestingly itv have brought back stenos to cover their day time programming for quality.

I’ve watched love island this week and it should be either overhauled with actual human contestants or taken off air. The actual audacity of @ITV to present this to impressionable young people and call it reality. Toxic masculinity, body image issues, skewed narratives… awful.
