Shameful, particularly as @maitlis was simply reiterating what has happened and reflecting the mood of the country. Really enjoyed @ITV's "Morecambe and Wise: The Lost Tapes", always great to see their work. It would have been better, though, if they'd done the "documentary" bit in one go, then shown the entire Lost Show in its entirety, then had the comments from the family, friends & fans!

@HeathertheHeron @ITV Morgan made an impact ( some might say for varying reasons...!) but my issue is with lightweight programming often called "infotainment", and ratings chasing. @itv doesn't cover news as well as it might for a public broadcaster
