    if a public service broadcaster has to participate in a ‘market’, then all a commercial broadcaster has to do is produce better content. ITV doesn’t. Netflix doesn’t. that shouldn’t be made the BBC’s problem.

Shameful, particularly as @maitlis was simply reiterating what has happened and reflecting the mood of the country.     @Lord_Sugar @ITVX @ITV Worst ******* app. The free version is replete with ads that make the programmes unwatchable. I Just end up turning it off and would never pay them for anything. You can’t even skip through the ads. To hear they still play ads after you pay them is astonishing.
