@LloydsBank It did not quote a number, just says something like service unavailable or cannot do it at present or similar I can pay an existing, as I did that Its business banking if that helps We did have some money in there, we do have a few bob left

@LloydsBank It didn't get as far as contacting the bank, it has been rejected by both a cash machine and a store device on insertion, and contactless still works OK, so I am quite sure it is a physical problem with the card, not with a security check.

@LloydsBank There's also a £3 Club Lloyds fee, which is waived if you pay in £1,500 a month (£2,000 a month from April). To get the switch incentive, you need to switch using the Current Account Switch Service. The offer ends 20 March 2023.
