Awful service from @LloydsBank home insurance. Had two vehicles drive in to our boundary wall and into our fourth month now the first one STILL hasn’t been satisfactorily repaired and still awaiting contact from yourselves after several calls totalling FIVE hours with no reply 😡

  • davidh7426
David V Humphreys (@davidh7426) reported from Stockport, England

@LawyerConcerned @LloydsBank Lloyd's Bank appears to be having trouble with understanding really basic mission statements of all businesses… Keep your customers happy. Put your customers first. Why they chose to punish a bank manager for actually trying to help beggars belief.

  • DebbieSnowdon
debbie snowdon (@DebbieSnowdon) reported from Buxton, England

@LloydsBank I have now had an email from Allianz, they say my claim has been approved but don’t know when I will get the money. They have a backlog and staff shortage! You as a Bank offering their product need to rectify this as you are not giving your customers a decent service. Furious!!!

  • DebbieSnowdon
debbie snowdon (@DebbieSnowdon) reported from Buxton, England

@LloydsBank Still@waiting for my money. Did get an email for Allianz saying they are very busy and short staffed and have a backlog! You as a Bank need to sort this out. You are offering a product with zero customer service.

@LloydsBank I want to close my and my partners HTB ISA’s - I tried to close them online but it says there’s an issue and I need to do this in branch - is there anyway we can do this remotely?

@LloydsBank your IB service is pathetic. Have been on a call since 1 jour and no advice is coming on the call. Since Saturday been trying. Your services are just not upto mark and the bank does not help with IB reset option. Pathetic service

Steve Dawson (@SteveDawsonCKT) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England

@LloydsBank I’ve been trying for the past three days to change my account from Gold to the Lloyds Club account and everytime I go to complete it comes up with ‘it looks like somethings gone wrong’ error message. What’s going on with it? Do I need to go to a branch to sort it?

  • onerealbeanie
🌞 nerealbeanie (@onerealbeanie) reported from Manchester, England

@LloydsBank 's inability to sort out IT issues is shocking. They still can't accept Mx titles when applying for account opening over the phone and their fraud prevention makes making payments incredibly annoying and periodically fails to notify customer of the issue.

  • SteveDawsonCKT
Steve Dawson (@SteveDawsonCKT) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England

@LloydsBank Yep tried both website and app and it’s the same thing. Also cleared the cookies and cache but it still comes up with the error. Doesn’t work on either Safari or Chrome

@LloydsBank if I can use my personal details to login to internet banking does that mean my account has been approved?

@LloydsBank I haven’t tried the website, however I’m concerned that the payment I made on the 27/04/2026 has shown up. I didn’t even receive an email telling me the payment had been made. I can confirm the payment left my bank account on the 27th.

@LloydsBank Hi Anand. Can you acknowledge this issue is being investigated?

  • tim_powell
    Tim Powell (@tim_powell) reported

@LloydsBank Thanks but I have wasted enough using your online systems. Just get your board/CEO to try and resolve a banking issue through the system. Then something might change. Complaints never seem to change anything.

  • chatsharris11
    mihall (@chatsharris11) reported

@LloydsBank the year is 2026 and in order to get a loan you have to rely on posted application forms as their online app for a loan doesn't work. What a joke, plus customer service no help, loyal customer over 25 years #shambles

Fintech Rundown (04/05) - @coinbase, @LloydsBank, @stripe Banks just tried to kill your crypto rewards, and they almost won. But Coinbase just secured a massive backdoor deal in the Senate that changes everything for the US stablecoin bill. Here’s why your wallet is about to get a lot more interesting First, Coinbase vs. The Senate. We’ve been stuck in this weird loop where crypto firms couldn't offer 'interest' because banks were terrified of deposit flight. Well, a deal was just cut. They’re allowing rewards for 'bona fide usage.' It’s the loophole the industry needed to finally legitimize stablecoin yields without scaring the regulators to death. If you were waiting for the 'all clear' signal from D.C., this is it. Next, Lloyds Bank just launched 'Envoy.' This is a massive jump. It’s an internal platform that lets their teams build AI agents, but they’re actually using it in the boardroom to synthesize confidential reports. Think about that: a bank giving an AI agent access to sensitive, non-public board materials to help make executive decisions. We aren't just automating customer support; we’re automating the C-suite. And the biggest move of the week: Stripe is building 'Agentic Commerce.' They’re teaming up with Google to put Stripe directly into Gemini. You’ll be able to tell an AI agent, 'Book me a trip and pay the deposit,' and it’s actually going to pull from a one-time virtual card to finalize the transaction. Stripe is basically turning your browser into a wallet for robots. If you’re not tracking how AI agents will handle payments, you’re missing the next trillion-dollar shift. The pattern is clear: first, AI gets a brain; now, it’s getting a wallet. What happens when your AI colleague makes a bad investment with your budget? Drop your thoughts below—let's yap about it. 👉 Interested in sponsoring these conversations and reaching a global fintech audience? Send me a message.
