They've confirmed the claim but appear to be deliberately dragging it out in order to slow down claims. Presumably Nationwide has asked them to.

On both occasions, when the phone started ringing it was cut off. How does she get to talk to customer service this week?

Issue is why the first branch were gatekeeping when the other branch confirmed that what they had asked for was completely unnecessary

Al (@Alimarielen) reported@ChelleChipato @AskNationwide Nationwide are the most awful bank and investors. Mt Daughter trust fund came back as just over £500. All her friends have over £1000. Not a good entry for your boy into trying to navigate finance

Basically saying you're only worthy of a thank you if you're well off. Rest of us mean nothing to them.

When asked, speak the name of your bank to get connected. Most banks handle this well but @AskNationwide does seem to be having issues with it at the moment.
