@AskNationwide why are the cashiers in your EMPTY Twickenham branch refusing to accept a cash deposit over the counter? Instead directing me to use a paying in machine stating FlexDirect accounts are self service accounts. Great way to lose a customer. 👍🏾

@AskNationwide Thanks but when checking the Nationwide website and the app at 0730 this morning the message was no issues and it as all green. (Since changed) Payment from the external bank immediately was returned with warning the recipient could not receive the payment and to try again later.

@CocoKiia @AskNationwide I could see the money had gone from the other person's account and on the nationwide app it just says payment issues and payments will go in a que nothing about rejecting payments from other banks so I just assumed it will go in a que as stated and go in my bank once they sorted.

@YourMSTechDroid @AskNationwide You probably can but I wouldn’t risk it as I attempted to and it didn’t go through but still took the money from my account. I’m now £450 down and have to wait 7 days to get my money back.

@AskNationwide Are you saying you don't know why Nationwide wont post a notification of the banking problem on their twitter feed Jake? Will you compensate customers if your fault has directly incurred costs to them? Yes? No? or don't know?
