@AskNationwide why don't nationwide offer online cheque banking? Most banks do and with your branches closing down regularly it's very inconvenient to get to a branch to pay a cheque in. By post is not reliable enough.

@AskNationwide I'd rather you foccussed on branches closing for a whole week for the bank holiday without notice and subsequently not crediting any deposits made until they get their arses back to work! How many people struggling will suffer because you've withheld access to funds?

@DebbsilouH @AskNationwide Same. I gave up and used my mastercard which went through no problem. Apparently visa debit cards from high street banks are blocked by the banks if the CVV isn't asked for, which they're not on Amazon anymore.
