Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

@AskNationwide I've been on hold to telephone banking for over 20 minutes, first time I've used this banking 'service' with you – is this normal?

@AskNationwide From your bank - a compensation after I complained about your service. I received a letter from your bank in which it stated clearly I would be paid by the end of last month.

@AskNationwide You no longer put members first. For me, the high street and co tact with face to face customer service is still a massive draw when I chose who I do my business with. Maybe worth passing that up the line.

@AskNationwide Please can you tell me the best number to call .I am abroad. I have been on hold for 20 minutes and got cut off as soon as someone picked up the phone... I know you are a UK bank but some of us still need service from outside the country !

@FireNWood1963 @AskNationwide Get shut of your ISA, get 1.5% easy access saver with @chase_uk or a bond with SmartSave or Monument at 2% for 2yrs or 2.11% with Al-Rayan Bank. Ditch and switch as Martin Lewis says. I'm going from 0.4 to 1.5%. You will need to pay tax, but it's nothing compared to interest.

Now, @AskNationwide... I've been with you 10 years, and have never used phone banking, only online. It's now 2022, and there's no way to replace my broken debit card without ringing you (needing a phone banking ID I didn't know I had and having to set up a new one). 1/2

@AskNationwide I know what you and aren't offering. The fact is you should be listening to your customers and bring back fave to face mortgages. Or at least train your staff on the call centres to the point where they read don't need to log on to the website to read verbatim the information.
