Interest rate has gone up on our @AskNationwide mortgage, so of course our monthly payment has gone *down* £74 per month. Interest rates should go UP more often please! I think their software has a bug…

@RevdCharles @AskNationwide Good guess. No, I know what it is, and they do it every few years so that our end date doesn’t come early. Profits before principles. Or “computer error” as they call it!

@AskNationwide OK. When you block my account online, can I still use cash points to withdraw? I'll need to withdraw when I move current accounts tomorrow. After 18 years with you I've finally had enough of this nonsense.

@AskNationwide It has been through your complaints procedure which found in your favour on the customer support. I don't sense there is much more purpose in talking about this. When decisions are made on financial products, I will take this verdict into account.

@knoweuro @AskNationwide You can’t even do that trying to get through to the Telegraph Subscription line - rang the number given, referred to website and have to leave a message. Then told they will ring, 2 days later still waiting as they’re busy!

@AskNationwide help and support would not be taking £332 from my account and then tell me i have to wait until the person who made the error to come back to work! And when i complained get told your timescales are 5 working days...my bill timescales are today!! Disgusting!

@AskNationwide you could help with this crisis by removing your onerous arranged overdraft interest rate...

@AskNationwide No, not at all. I was more or less been tossed aside and the impression I received they didn't want to help me further.
