Not having the best of luck with NatWest this week. Just sat down to write a cheque, only to realise they’ve spelled my name with three As in my new chequebook. I’ve always thought the legitimate two was excessive!

@NatWest_Help getting a replacement card appears to be mission impossible with NatWest. Currently having a conversation in the app and the agent replies after one hour! What is your excuse @NatWest? Worst bank ever

@stuntbutt @NatWest Please be aware of @NatWest_Help employees at Ealing branch. There is a female employee who took a customer's cash deposit of about a grand and put a witdrawal transaction through the system instead. Please be aware as more employees may be involved and always check your receipts.

  • DmitriusOld Dmitri Old (@DmitriusOld) reported from London, England

Credit where it is due. Samantha at Natwest got it sorted and compensated me for the problems. Well done to her. @NatWest_Help should be grateful. @AskNationwide the ball is in your court to keep me as a customer.

This means that she @NatWest_Help stole the cash and withdrew the same amount from the customer's account. The customer is now out of pocket twice the amount. Natwest is simply disputing this and covering it up. More employees may be involved so always check your receipts.

@NatWest_Help NatWest, Please fix this flaw in your card system. You changed my digital card number before I have access to my new card, therefore my iPhone payments don't work, I just was completely stranded not realising I would need my plastic card to make payments

@NatWest_Help Hi Natwest. I have exactly the same issue....I called earlier and was assured it would be in the account by midnight as I had ticked all the criteria. Could you DM me please?

Went to #Natwest related to mum's estate. Spoke to helpful lady. She - have you brought x,y and z. No I have brought just x because that's what it says on your website. She - website is wrong I keep telling them customers say that but they ignore me. I tried to mention users...

  • TelecomsPaul Paul Jay (@TelecomsPaul) reported

@firstdirecthelp Can you run this past your app developer team as none of my other banking apps have issues since update. Monzo, Natwest, and all the competitors work with no issues.

  • AshGardner1 Ashleigh Gardner (@AshGardner1) reported

@HelenStarling9 @AmazonHelp @NatWest_Help Hi. I’ve been having this problem since Thursday and am just being passed between the bank and Amazon. Can I ask, the other payment method you used, was it different to NatWest?

  • Bobc84 Bobby C (@Bobc84) reported

@Barclaycard You need to sort this out, not me. I am trying to pay my bill on your website and your system is causing the payment to be declined. Natwest do not have an issue as we can make payments to other companies as already stated.

  • DaffyScott Kathryn (@DaffyScott) reported

@NatWest_Help anyone else having issues getting account closure after a bereavement? keep delaying closure and payment of funds for absolutely no reason that anyone can explain to me. Come on NatWest - no point in having a bereavement service that doesn’t deliver. Distressing.

  • peterheaton1 peter heaton (@peterheaton1) reported

@NatWest_Help @ClarkeMicah That’s no help. My original tweet: A friend of mine has been told her Natwest account being closed. Been with you 40 yrs, never even overdrawn. Letter says natwest “ending relationship”. No reason given. Jobsworths on phones won’t discuss. Culling accounts? Not uncommon it seems.

  • your_ears_93 Lend_me (@your_ears_93) reported

@HertsFedChair1 Though not in the job for long, 5 yrs, I can remember my first pay slip at Hendon ('81) & thinking, "not bad, not bad at all." ...then straight down to Brent Cross to buy a Walkman. There was even a small NatWest on campus. These days it sounds like Hendon needs a Food Bank.

  • JamesJStory James Story (@JamesJStory) reported

I’m not surprised Help to Buy ISAs ended - nobody I try to speak to about mine knows how they work. Letting agents, mortgage advisor, conveyancer and now NatWest themselves have just thrown me onto other people every time I have a question. Just awful.
