  Has NatWest app crashed? I keep getting connection issues and can't get to speak to anyone on Customer Services. Blooming nightmare, no money in the middle of Tesco, had to run home and sort it out on their website, then run back and collect shopping. FML

  @EJPSarriesAFC NatWest have just started doing it. Haven’t had cheques in years but a lot of Dad’s refunds have come via cheque. It’s a fab service!

  @essiefox I left for Homeserve after NatWest, went to Churchill, now better offer from British Gas home insurance. Homeserve years back were slow.

  @NatWest_Help Why am I still unable to make overpayments to my NatWest mortgage using your online banking app? This is so frustrating when I was advised on 15 Dec it would be fixed within 2-3 working days! So much for banking being via self service. Very poor customer experience

  @sewateruk With @NatWestGroup stating that Natwest Pension Fund Trustee will use its "influence as a minority shareholder to direct SEW’s board to ensure these issues are fully resolved." Are you expecting a shareholder revolt & vote of no confidence in the CEO & Board?

  Just so all you little guys with the big accounts know, Man Utd ain’t losing today. And you can take that to NatWest/First Direct whatever bank you choose that offers a competitive interest rate on personal ISAs up to £20k limit per customer

  @Natwest idea of progress is to close down helpful & people focussed branches particularly with the elderly & divert everyone to a busy automated focussed branch you have to travel to & which is always full of queues. First Catford closed diverting to lewisham now sydenham.

  @GSGB01 Yes JC we need people with knowledge and support from the nation , Sharon Osbourne next, we need someone that is one off the top brass from the bank off England or other financial field that isn't a fake cashier at NatWest like we have now , MPs that make a difference

  Today, @CamdenCouncil, your scheme failed a frail, elderly woman in a significant way. She flagged me down at the intersection of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, urgently needing help to pick up her elderly friend at the NatWest bank on Tottenham Court Road. What should have been a quick one-minute journey along a major thoroughfare turned into a frustrating 16-minute detour. The reality is that Tottenham Court Road does not prioritise “inclusion.” It is absurd that an accessible means of transport is prohibited from driving along one of London’s main roads. @TfL @LondonAssembly

  Smiley Culture: NatWest On Line (1986). This is one of two adverts reggae star Smiley Culture did for the bank, promoting their On Line bank accounts aimed at teenagers. UK banks leaned heavily into the teenage market in the 1980s, on the assumption that customers rarely changed bank accounts. If you got the customer young they would stay with you for life, so why not give them a cash card and a free sports bag when they were 14?

  @Leighlines @AllegroEddie NatWest tried this **** with me when trying to transferring funds using the app (transfer to another account of mine, not a new one). Log in via website and won’t be needed.
