@carolecadwalla I found a NatWest debit card for Natalie West (thought it was a test card) but took it anyway to a NatWest branch and it turned out she was a real customer!

@NatWest_Help absolutely appalling service today at NatWest telephone banking. Have been waiting for over one hour to get a replacement card. Get transferred to random people and now cut off! WTF !!

Credit where it is due. Samantha at Natwest got it sorted and compensated me for the problems. Well done to her. @NatWest_Help should be grateful. @AskNationwide the ball is in your court to keep me as a customer.

Not particularly impressed with my local @NatWest_Help branch today in trying to open a trust fund. “It’s all on the app” - what about actually providing actual customer service? 😩 #natwest

‘You’re suggesting I take out a loan, to deal with a cash flow issue resulting from NatWest’s incompetence?’ ‘No, I didn’t say that. The lending team can do all sorts of things’ Right… 11/

@MikeStewart79 @Recoctbe27i493 @GraemetsmithT Scotland's financial sector currently manages around £500-800 billion in assets, with ambitions to reach £1 trillion by 2030. Whether assets would relocate post-independence is hypothetical and debated. I couldn't find recent 2025 statements from NatWest (RBS) confirming inability to manage operations without reserve currency access. Past comments (e.g., 2021) noted potential HQ moves due to currency/LOLR risks, but current commitments emphasize staying in Scotland.

NatWest repeatedly blocking authorised #crypto payments unless customer visits a branch. Customer has confirmed acting freely, no fraud, no coercion. It’s customer's money, their account, their choice. Why should customers be denied fair access to their own funds? @NatWestGroup

I’m on about my 10th customer service agent after my first call being a month ago (after visiting in store) and still absolutely no help from @NatWest_Help 6 years of saving in HTB and being told by HTB it ‘doesn’t count’ because I was missold by NatWest. Disgusting.

Been a NatWest customer now for over 15 years, but genuinely shocked at how I've been treated. In France, I go to pay with my card. Doesn't work, contactless or pin. Then doesn't work in an ATM. So I call support...

Went into a NatWest today and there was a corporate notice about an ATM dispensing £50 notes. Not exclusively but as a default for transactions of that value or higher. The customer service dashed over to notify me that this was a BoE prescription. A signal? @DominicFrisby
