  • s_birket Daisy (@s_birket) reported from Coventry, England

@O2 Really @o2? You started out so well acknowledging the issue and it just went downhill from there. The app was down for the day, yet touts managed to buy and relist them for £hundreds, it is disgusting.

  • John10649040 John (@John10649040) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 when are you going to fix the masts around Birmingham ( B11 ) as I’m sick of not bloody signal / data . £25 I think I’m do a refund !

  • leafau23 Leanne Faulkner (@leafau23) reported from Coventry, England

@AshleyG72960578 @JordanKinsleyx @O2 The bots are the ticket sellers themselves too. Ticketmaster are the worlds worst. How can tickets be on resale 30 seconds after the first presale/on-sale if it not an inside job?! Viagogo is owned by Ticketmaster

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@o2 why is your service unusable in areas that your map says has good coverage? No backhaul bandwidth? B90 4AJ poor outside nothing inside. B13 0UR poor inside. Intermittent connectivity in spite of reasonable signal. Three works perfectly onside and out.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 working like clockwork? It goes faulty every week. "O2 Network Update: Stratford Rd, Shirley, Solihull B90 4AJ, UK Looks like a nearby phone mast isn’t working as it should, sorry.

  • EvanD Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 That looks like an Apple device. #Alexa won’t help you there. #Siri might.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 just changing to O2 as I opted for deal with Virgin. Disappointed with how poor your coverage is locally in the B90 area. Where I had over 200mbits 5G with three, I am now lucky to get 20mbits with O2. Do you have plans to improve your network? Have I made a mistake?

  • auspices richard (@auspices) reported from Birmingham, England

anyone else I know have @O2 as a mobile phone network? I may as well not have a phone it’s straight up awful coverage

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 why does the local B90 4AJ mast go faulty EVERY week. 6 weeks in a row now, we get no service until it is repaired. You need better repair engineers as their repairs do not even last a week!!!

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 can you stop advising people to "reset network settings" when your network has problems. This didn't fix the problem with your network and unfortunately wipes out all WiFi and Bluetooth settings, which then need manually setting up again. Not good advice at all.

  • John10649040 John (@John10649040) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 @jimswanstonlive That crap answer does not improve your **** network . How about Birmingham B12 again utter Shite signal ! Guess what I know the local mast is down but it has been ever since I have been with you !

  • DeanMSimons Dean but festive (@DeanMSimons) reported from Birmingham, England

hey @O2, I’m trying to enter my IMEI number on the Recycle site to start the process of trade in for my new contract but it’s not accepting it? Pretty sure my iPhone is genuine after all these years haha. Could you help?

  • MuslimShamir Follow Poor Shamir Claimant Ali Entrapment (@MuslimShamir) reported from Birmingham, England

@O2 Answer the phone. Is your phone not working ? Is it a desk phone or mobile you using ?

  • Cheadle Hooty McOwlface (@Cheadle) reported from Birmingham, England

@whatphilsaid @O2 It’s horrendous. Who would have thought the network could actually get worse as technology improves

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@o2. Like clockwork every week O2 Network Update: Stratford Rd, Shirley, Solihull B90 4AJ, UK Sorry, a phone mast close to you isn't working as well as we would expect Our engineers are carrying out some checks to investigate issues in this area...

  • edmundmlawrence Edmund Lawrence (@edmundmlawrence) reported from Coventry, England

@O2 frankly appallingly rude service in the Coventry shop today. Can’t find a number to call, no call back for days and live chat not working. SORT IT OUT.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 9 hours after you reported it fixed (again). O2 Network Update: Stratford Rd, Shirley, Solihull B90 4AJ, UK Looks like a nearby phone mast isn’t working as it should, sorry.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 After spending 6 hours trying to get hold of customer services, I ended up driving (and paying for parking) to go to one of your shops to get a sim swap. This apparently the only to get service working. Not the best of starts.

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 Getting very close to the point of cancelling my order. The port has failed and I have no service. Cannot get through to your support as there are no agents available. No reply to FB message since 9 am. The clock is ticking...

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 I assume free coffee is cheaper than investing in network capacity.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I joined O2 this week and encouraged my wife to do the same. You have now screwed up her number port causing havoc in her business, damaging her livelihood and causing upset to vulnerable family we care for. Advisors just make baseless promises and lie when we call. #Fail

  • grshorwich Godwin Stewart (@grshorwich) reported

@O2 Yes, you've looked into it and promised improvements that have not materialised. No point in looking into it again, I know you have no interest in investing in the network. Reception was usable when I signed up. Now I'm stuck with you for 18 mths.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Perhaps I've experienced both sides of the situation as a customer and an employee dealing with such things. The network I worked for as much as there were processes to follow things were mostly left to us to decided the outcome as we were top teir complaints.

  • ljbradbury1 lisa jane bradbury (@ljbradbury1) reported

@O2 The network checker tells me there are more people than usual in my area which may be affecting my service…. Hardly useful

  • ws__21 ***** Stewart (@ws__21) reported

@HereCelts No phone signal on @O2 there and the WiFi is non existent

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Well O2 systems are all automated. People don't sit and monitor accounts. If you requested to cancel and they have notes confirming this and they didn't do it then the issue is theirs to fix and refund. I used to be customer relations for a different mobile network.

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Barrhead, Scotland

@O2 Contacted O2 several times now. Different timescale given each time. 'Another team will investigate and get back to you'. Meanwhile the damage to our business and family life gets worse. Wish we had never heard of O2

  • AskAutistics Carly (@AskAutistics) reported

@O2 I’m so cross especially as I pay a fortune for a service that has zero signal always. I will be cancelling my contract that’s for sure!

  • MaskersBlack 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 🇬🇧 (@MaskersBlack) reported

Just travelling on the @AvantiWestCoast service from Euston to Manchester. I reckon that I have had a useable @O2 service for less than 10% of the journey. It’s infuriating in the 21st Century, when I had full connectivity for 100% of my flight back from Malta last week.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I can't speak for them personally, however most contract T&Cs do state that after the minimum term ends its up to the customer to make contact and give notice. If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.
