@O2 @brough_ant I have the same issue, crappy 4G in an area which you say is great. Well it isn't! I bought the Samsung A70 with 5G ready, I doubt I am going to receive 5G, so pretty pointless really buying the phone.

Godwin Stewart (@grshorwich) reported from Lea Town, England

  • grshorwich
Godwin Stewart (@grshorwich) reported from Lea Town, England

@psychomania666 @O2 At least it was on 3G. Most of the time it falls back to 2G round here. Plenty of boilerplate "we're always striving to improve the network" and "stay tuned" from @O2 but no actual improvement. At this point I'm sure there won't be any except in affluent areas down south.

  • CraigVerity1
Craig Verity MIH MBII (@CraigVerity1) reported from Saint Annes on the Sea, England

@O2 Your always sorry but nothing actually ever gets done about it. Just fob me off saying "well at time of point of sale, you will have signed to understand". I have already persuaded my whole family to go to a different network one of your competitors, and I will tell more people.

  • CraigVerity1
Craig Verity Mbii (@CraigVerity1) reported from Saint Annes on the Sea, England

  • grshorwich

@psychomania666 @O2 And of course on 3G you do get a reasonable signal but no actual data throughput...

  • kevinxt
    Kevin Thomas FINSTR 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@kevinxt) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 We also found that O2 were concentrating 5G in City/Built Up areas. That was 2 years ago, not sure if the roll out is still on going. If you are using mobile at home you can link to your router for a better service. All the best with it 👌

  • FionaLondonarts
    Fiona Mountford (@FionaLondonarts) reported

@O2 SIX DAYS for a reply to my messsage! I do feel valued as a customer... This simply confirms my decision to leave O2 for a proper grown-up network. Woeful service all round.

@TomTugendhat @O2 Go on your mobile data settings and turn your signal to “5G on” not automatic!

  • NatRy2000

Why is my data roaming not working @o2 ? I made sure that I had some whilst away and nothing what is going on how do I sort this out

  • iamryanodonnell
    Ryan O'Donnell (@iamryanodonnell) reported

@O2 Thank you but I’ve pretty much done all of this. The network needs serious investment to manage the amount of people connected, and to ensure data is reliable and stable.

  • nicknickster
    Nick Booth (@nicknickster) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Exactly. They all share one network of masts now so no-one has an incentive (or an ability) to provide a better service
