@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve been onto your customer services. They refused to tell me how much it would cost to buy out this awful contract. Threatened termination fees from @o2. A retentions team will be in contact. 🙄 My family member *thought* she was with @o2 - misdirection from you of course. 🤮

  • columcoyle Colum Coyle (@columcoyle) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@Aerial_Direct @O2 You play fast and loose with customer records and exploit trust. Shame on @o2 for a blatant breach of customer goodwill.

  • columcoyle Colum Coyle (@columcoyle) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@angelcosta78 @DPDgroup_news @O2 @AppleSupport Just checked and its now saying the same for me! Apparently it takes a full 26 hours to get from Birmingham to Down 🙄

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve spoken to Naomi on your team already. That’s was a useless ten minutes. Refused to tell me details of how to cancel - just threatened temrination fees. Offered renewal. Honestly she would have had to have offered a unicorn in a colour of my choice to get a renewal.

  • cathal_hanlon Cathal Ó hAnnluain (@cathal_hanlon) reported from Rathfriland, Northern Ireland

@O2 why do I pay for your service when the product you sell me does not work network coverage is poor at best and internet is not worth the hassle as it's so slow

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904 DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@O2 @druwakely I’ve never got an @O2 treat they charged an elderly customer my gran over £200 on pay as you go for a month

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Knockmore, Northern Ireland

@O2 But thanks for your valiant “how can we help” which you know and I know was “customer service theatre”. 🎭 It really gives the impression you care one iota about customer service and privacy. 👌 Which is, of course, nonsense. But good play 👏

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@O2 You don’t get the same experience on @ThreeUK - never get shady third party companies calling. You treat your customers like another product to be sold. It should be criminal. I’m actually disgusted. 🤮

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@O2 2) They’ve endured under this contract for 30 months (exploited by salesmen) and it finally ends in April so they’ve asked me to help them. I went into our local O2 store and they told me it was a 33 month contract, wasn’t actually with them and there would be a termination fee

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

It’s plain that @O2 sell their customer database to any player willing to put up the cash. Which is why the customer ends up targeted by bad players like @aerial_direct preying on ignorance of what a megabyte is.

  • TheRealJackieJ Jackie Johnston (@TheRealJackieJ) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@O2 Thanks. How do we unsubscribe from this ****? We pay for 5 contracts and do not wish to receive these messages particularly on children’s phones.

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904 DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk No the @TalkTalk number was 03451720088 And @O2 give me 03451720091 The email number was 03451720032 No success at all very bad customer service so far !!!

@O2 in o2 shop in newtownards the 3 fellas in the shop couldn't have bin any nicer and very helpful even when the problem was my own fault! Saved me a trip to Samsung! Def need a pay rise!! Thank you =)

  • cimota Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@O2 Which was apparent from my first tweet. I’m not asking for you to intervene. I was asking when are you going to develop some principles and stop selling your customers details to bad players like @Aerial_Direct

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LauraaSibthorpe Laura Jayne Sibthorpe✨ (@LauraaSibthorpe) reported

@O2 Done this, says no issue. I still have no service and can’t get through on technical support.

  • OriginalJoycey Paul Joyce (@OriginalJoycey) reported

@GCsurv @O2 @tescomobile It’s worst if you have an iPhone too! Areas in town where you sound like a robot or under water…never experienced it with my Galaxy. Apparently too much data traffic…more users on network, no additional masts, no investment.

  • LukeSmall88 luke small (@LukeSmall88) reported

@AndyPearson68 @bluenobby @O2 Virgin/O2 wanted £6 rise on my broadband. Rung, whinged like ****. Contract renewed with a lesser price. Alas on £31 instead instead of £32 but still beats the £6 rise. Piss take.

  • valscholz Val Scholz (@valscholz) reported

@t_hambrett @virginmedia @O2 Had a different but similar experience trying to cancel my contract as Virgin didn’t offer their services at the new flat. Took me 4 months and 2 formal complaints to finally cancel it as it’s impossible to do that online.

  • NAEntity69 NAEntity (@NAEntity69) reported

@O2 @GoldShyGuy1 Screw you @O2, can't wait to cancel your *** as soon as my contract is up

  • KOT_KOTKOT_KOT K of T (@KOT_KOTKOT_KOT) reported

@Sk1l1d @O2 Same here in Staffordshire for over 12 months now. And they begged me to stay with them last month with my 3 phones and not move to #skymobile so like a fool I extended for another 3 years. Never again #soontobeexo2

  • NathFerguson Nath (@NathFerguson) reported

@ackoftheclones @O2 Put a formal complaint in then if they don’t respond take it to the financial ombudsman but you may have to wait a few weeks and they will sort it out for you. Them being busy is no legitimate excuse for them not sorting it out

  • katier992 Cait Heath (@katier992) reported

@O2 I have messaged you guys - the parts are out of order (as in chronological order, not being rude or offensive), but I hope it makes sense anyway. TIA :)

  • clementsphil Phil Clements (@clementsphil) reported

@Andy_Watt @O2 They could easily have taken a position, apologised for the need to increase and taken some of it on the chin. Increase due to energy price increases, but what will they do if those come down? Reduce everybody's bill?

  • Mark29071823 Mark (@Mark29071823) reported

@horseygin @O2 Exactly prices going up is never a good thing but doesn't feel as bad when you are getting the service you are paying for. Wouldn't be as bad if o2 was putting the profits into the network but the money is going right into ceo's pockets
