Sophie Bentley (@sophiebentley14) reported from Portadown, Northern Ireland@O2 Hi I need some help with a SIM swap. I have tried going in store but they said it’s an old account and have no access. When I call the customer care line it says call centres are closed and when I log onto the online portal it only lets you activate a blank sim?
-

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Chris M Pattinson (@ChrisMPattinson) reported@Morgan7MJ @O2 The service in the UK is appalling now. The bandwidth is not big enough to support the number of subscribers on all networks. Vodafone is bad also especially in London
-
ᗪᗩᐯE (@Jaxstad) reported@O2 Tried doing that before… that didn't help me either
-
Mark Beardmore (@Beardmore8Mark) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Very easy solution - make the companies offer roaming to their customers when their service is poor- no infrastructure required, just a flick of a switch! Gives UK customers the same service as uk visitors much in the same way when we go overseas #roaming4all
-
Colm Nugent (@Wigapedia) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE At what point in time did mobile phone company investment get diverted to upgrade bike lanes? This is like complaining about the vegetable selection in Tesco being terrible, while care homes are underfunded. Tom apparently doesn't understand how a modern economy works.
-
Snow&Fairways (@IcyFairways) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Sane with three. Garbage.
-
Peter Alston (@paalston) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Make it the law, ofcom, that if there’s no decent reception on your chosen provider then mobiles piggyback onto a service which is actually available whenever you are, akin to the 999 thing - your mobile provider pick up the cost. Arguably just one UK network would be better
-
Briana (@Briana432130275) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE O2 are the worst. The rot started under tories
-
Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures
-
Gillian Jamieson (@GillRaeWalker) reported@browncharley23 @TomTugendhat @O2 Minimally - they work in an outage.
-
Shauney Connor (@toryshaun) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don’t come to Shropshire. In some areas like my parish signal is next to nothing. Lucky to get 3 bars on a good day!
