Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 You don’t get the same experience on @ThreeUK - never get shady third party companies calling. You treat your customers like another product to be sold. It should be criminal. I’m actually disgusted. 🤮

Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@Aerial_Direct @O2 You play fast and loose with customer records and exploit trust. Shame on @o2 for a blatant breach of customer goodwill.
-
Stephen Blevins (@stephenblevins9) reported from Rich Hill, Northern IrelandCould someone at @O2 explain why the service in BT61 has been diabolical for almost two weeks? Bit of a nerve advising us of a spike in bills alongside a drop in service? Not exactly sure what I’m paying for at the minute.
-
Rob McAdam (@mcadam_rob) reported from Lurgan, Northern Ireland@coolfm just when you feel it could be you winning the cool cash call , the stupid networks @tescomobile & @O2 are down and have been for over an hour now 😠

Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve spoken to Naomi on your team already. That’s was a useless ten minutes. Refused to tell me details of how to cancel - just threatened temrination fees. Offered renewal. Honestly she would have had to have offered a unicorn in a colour of my choice to get a renewal.
-
Blah Blah Blah (@UlsterMag) reported from Banbridge, Northern Ireland@O2 Carphone Warehouse I think. I was told because my contract was with o2, they would fix it.

Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve been onto your customer services. They refused to tell me how much it would cost to buy out this awful contract. Threatened termination fees from @o2. A retentions team will be in contact. 🙄 My family member *thought* she was with @o2 - misdirection from you of course. 🤮
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern IrelandIt’s plain that @O2 sell their customer database to any player willing to put up the cash. Which is why the customer ends up targeted by bad players like @aerial_direct preying on ignorance of what a megabyte is.
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 2) They’ve endured under this contract for 30 months (exploited by salesmen) and it finally ends in April so they’ve asked me to help them. I went into our local O2 store and they told me it was a 33 month contract, wasn’t actually with them and there would be a termination fee

Sophie Bentley (@sophiebentley14) reported from Portadown, Northern Ireland@O2 Hi I need some help with a SIM swap. I have tried going in store but they said it’s an old account and have no access. When I call the customer care line it says call centres are closed and when I log onto the online portal it only lets you activate a blank sim?
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 Which was apparent from my first tweet. I’m not asking for you to intervene. I was asking when are you going to develop some principles and stop selling your customers details to bad players like @Aerial_Direct
-
Cathal Ó hAnnluain (@cathal_hanlon) reported from Rathfriland, Northern Ireland@O2 why do I pay for your service when the product you sell me does not work network coverage is poor at best and internet is not worth the hassle as it's so slow
O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Phil M Taylor (@Phil_Taylor_4) reported@kokeshimum @O2 The whole of UK telecoms is way behind many other developed parts of the world. Everyone has 5G capable gadgets but our networks are generally not up to 5G. More and more devices are connecting so speeds are not keeping up to demand. It’s very very poor.
-
Sarah (@kokeshimum) reported@Son_Lyme @O2 Every single provider is awful in my area. 🙄
-
Altrincham HQ - Social Media Marketing in Manc (@altrinchamhq) reported@AmyJoSays @O2 Massively down. I wonder if there's anyway of finding out. Freedom of information only applies to government organisations doesn't it.
-
MartinWW❌ (@swaledalebirds_) reported@Savplast60 @kokeshimum @O2 You ******* retard.
-
Pridgers (@pridgway65) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Because we live in a country filled with ******* that have read somewhere the 5G mast will hurt them, but they did not see the report that said it was fine because they didn’t get a signal, we have the tech, just don’t use it.
-
Stacey (@Stacearoo) reported@O2 why on earth is it IMPOSSIBLE to sign in?!?! I have never found something so ridiculously difficult!
-
lukewarm352000 (@lukewarm14) reported@O2 @virginmedia So if I get an issue with one account I get an issue with both accounts Got locked out my virgin account due to a scammer on o2 Takes days to unlock and then the scammer is back and they lock it down again Going round in circles with their poor service
-
Big Ed (@62BigEd) reported@kokeshimum @O2 UK is so bad with mobile phone coverage. I've been to Iceland and had a full signal with 5g driving through a tunnel or way out in the wilderness.
-
Andy Reynolds (@oit_andy) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Yep, I live in Milnrow, signal is fine there but if I drive up Huddersfield road or Todmorden road the signal completely disappears. It’s hilarious when they add another number to the “G” when some places in the U.K. haven’t event got 1G.
-
Tilly23 (@Larr23) reported@O2 Any reason why when I’ve just submitted a complaint via your online form (didn’t work) and your live chat, I then received a call from someone asking “why are I submitting a complaint when I’ve said I’m going to “escalate it anyway”?
