  • GlennMillward G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Avoid Plusnet like the plague. Awful customer service.

  • craigwest Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

  • purgstallheath Father Oliver Coss (@purgstallheath) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

  • GlennMillward G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Still absolute shocking WiFi speeds and customer service non-existent from #plusnet @plusnet don’t return calls exit fee when service not right from day 2. Useless and can not understand how they exist. Ombudsman next I think.

  • CllrWarrenWhyte Warren Whyte (@CllrWarrenWhyte) reported from Buckingham, England

Darn. So fed up with our @Plusnet broadband I was looking forward to changing supplier next month so imagine my disappointment when I realise I signed up for a 18 month contract. The modem is pathetic (and noisy) and wifi quality is shockingly bad.

@Plusnet is absolutely no debate the most embarrassing, worst internet provider available in 2021. Whoever is considering them, please I’m begging, don’t. How can my internet be turning itself off every 15 minutes? If I had enough characters, they’d be in the mud like their wifi.

  • EXCBAYBAY Elijah Cole (@EXCBAYBAY) reported

@plusnethelp Internet connection dropping in and out since midnight last night. Working from home and can't even stay connected to the Internet. What a joke plusnet is, don't even respond to support or DM

  • scanfer Simon Canfer #ItsAllADistraction (@scanfer) reported

@TeslaInTheUK @xtras3xyvehicle Virgin have been awful for service. We had their fibre and it was slow. Moved to Plusnet, faster and less than half the price!

  • WonderingWeath1 WonderingWeather (@WonderingWeath1) reported

@OpenreachHelp Are there known issues in Bangor, Co Down? My internet (plusnet) isn't working and there were quite a few Openreach engineers on the street earlier.

  • jhamshare James (@jhamshare) reported

@plusnethelp good morning. I’m a current plusnet happy customer, however I was wondering why openreach say my line should support up to 80mb but the faster package I get get from plusnet is 30ish, is this correct and how do I notified if a faster offered service is available?thx

  • bassanoclapper BassanoClapper (@bassanoclapper) reported

@lukehmuse Used to have really bad customer service but that may well have changed. I still hear good things about PlusNet I’m also with VM and find you have to go through the conversation with Retentions, threaten to quit and they give you a near-new customer deal for 18 months

  • _tienan Ruth Tien An Whittle (@_tienan) reported

@Plusnet how am I suppose to properly CatDad when I can only get internet speeds of LESS than 1mb for the past 5 days?? P.S I can't borrow a sPaRe cAbLE from a neighbor as suggested by your phone support team because pandemic 🥲 This tweet was brought to you by @iD_Mobile_UK

  • GazzaTHFC Gary (@GazzaTHFC) reported

@Westmore1970 @Plusnet If you’re switching, just don’t go with TalkTalk... we had what looks like the exact same problem, even with their replacement “SUPERFAST WIFI ROUTER” which was honestly aids.

  • Pepper2Pepsi Stephen Pepper (@Pepper2Pepsi) reported

Thankfully new SIM card now on its way thanks to Plusnet Help (Adam) who now accept discretion could have been used rigid application of rules + lack of discretion leads to very poor service in some cases. Vulnerable 92 year old who’s shielding will now have a phone that works!

  • ian_russell Ian Russell (@ian_russell) reported

@plusnethelp Yeah... I think rather than spend hours on the phone that if this is the way Plusnet treat loyal customers it's time to vote with my wallet and go elsewhere, thanks.
