@plusnethelp are there problems with your service? My plusnet connection has been flakey for a while now and this morning had gone down twice already. NN3

  • GlennMillward
G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Avoid Plusnet like the plague. Awful customer service.

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

  • CllrWarrenWhyte
Warren Whyte (@CllrWarrenWhyte) reported from Buckingham, England

Darn. So fed up with our @Plusnet broadband I was looking forward to changing supplier next month so imagine my disappointment when I realise I signed up for a 18 month contract. The modem is pathetic (and noisy) and wifi quality is shockingly bad.

  • purgstallheath
Father Oliver Coss (@purgstallheath) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

  • GlennMillward
G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Still absolute shocking WiFi speeds and customer service non-existent from #plusnet @plusnet don’t return calls exit fee when service not right from day 2. Useless and can not understand how they exist. Ombudsman next I think.

@VictoriaPeckham @Plusnet But who is better? People are always having problems with Virgin and Sky. I'm in the same boat as you but I don't know where else to go

  • Sarah_racewear
    Sarah Tyler 💙 (@Sarah_racewear) reported

@HelloFromMarcus @Plusnet Still? We had months of poor broadband and poor service. They kept investigating, our signal kept dropping out. We moved. Our broadband improved straight away. Despite saying they wouldn't charge us for cancelling early, they threatened us with court proceedings to pay up. 😡

@Plusnet what EXACTLY is/are the problem(s) right now?

@Plusnet @Ianfields69 Please provide a direct link to service status, not just a generic plusnet one.

  • LoneLeVay
    LoneBee (@LoneLeVay) reported

@Plusnet @AiberdeinQuine I still can't send emails; getting error messages about unsupported connection encryption type on all plusnet mail accounts (not Gmail). Is this connected to the current problems and is there an indication of a solution? We are into a third day now.

  • McGeorgeOfTheJ1

@Plusnet @matthew05255615 Must be annoying when 3rd parties fail to meet the announced expectations given right?

  • Plusnet

@JBonsor Hey there, you should now be able to log into your Plusnet email, however there may be a delay when sending and receiving emails. We’re working to fix this as quickly as possible and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you - Liam, Plusnet Sheffield.

@plusnet I've signed up for your broadband and now trying to switch my mobile to you, but online form keeps telling me that I'm not a broadband customer of yours, despite inputting correct account details. Any ideas?
