Plusnet Issues Reports Near Northamptonshire, England

  • craigwest Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

  • CraigHawker Craig Hawker (@CraigHawker) reported from Wellingborough, England

@SimonDarksideJ I'm on plusnet. No issues whatsoever.

  • ddtowe Dale Towers (@ddtowe) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@plusnethelp are there problems with your service? My plusnet connection has been flakey for a while now and this morning had gone down twice already. NN3

  • purgstallheath Father Oliver Coss (@purgstallheath) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

  • alexdn32 Alex Loche (@alexdn32) reported from Irchester, England

@cornelius_mark @SkyHelpTeam @primevideosport It's due to the issues with the Sky Channels on BT's TV Platform. BT and Plusnet will be using the Now TV platform for the Sky Channels, but BT want them in HD and recordable via the TV guide. Sky engineers are having to sort it out because it's a sky software issue with Youview.

@bt_uk Eventually, after 40 minutes on the phone. 3 times I had to call BT. You need to fix your systems. BT were wholly to blame. Plusnet here I come.

  • chinmj Matt (@chinmj) reported

Hi @Plusnet - I only get signal at home with an EE Signal Box. I see it's been announced that these are being turned off on 30 June, and EE/BT advises using Wifi Calling, which you don't support. Will you have enabled wifi-calling by then, or do I need a new provider?

  • NecroG4ming NecroGaming (@NecroG4ming) reported

@ItsMadJohn @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS Can't catch a break mate. I'm moving over to Plusnet on 23rd. Ain't gonna fix the problem I've had for 6 years though as its still BT's infastructre :(

  • MintySnacks Andy (@MintySnacks) reported

Right, lets see if I can cancel a plusnet account without needing to phone someone.

  • writebydan dan (@writebydan) reported

My broadband is running as slow as **** today and to report it I have to text my landline number to plusnet. My landline??? number???????

  • neil_mountford Neil Mountford (@neil_mountford) reported

Still dropping out, seems plusnet are quick to up their prices and slow to react to their customers 😡

  • Einnod25 Donnie (@Einnod25) reported

@Plusnet furthermore I’ve been a customer for 5 years but will now find another provider. Terrible and confrontational customer service advisors.

  • didi_girl8 Julie Shorten (@didi_girl8) reported

@plusnet i agreed to paying £23.99 per month but after having so much trouble getting an engineer to install my broadband due to 3 mistakes in booking your end, i am being charged £28.02. Why?? This is not the package i opted for?

  • Einnod25 Donnie (@Einnod25) reported

@Plusnet absolutely shocking and disgusting customer service received. I’ve just spoken with one of your advisors “Ray from Sheffield”after having no internet for almost 24 hours. He was completely rude and unhelpful and refused to send an engineer to look into the problem.

  • LaurencePigott el Pig (@LaurencePigott) reported

@DuskyMoko @virginmedia They are **** **** ****. I signed up to be set up in a couple of days, they moved to 5 weeks 🥴 I called to cancel, they'd keep transferring me around trying to change my mind – I was on for 45 mins trying to cancel. Abysmal. Went with plusnet in the end. No complaints + cheaper.
