Plusnet Issues Reports Near Northampton, England
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Northampton and nearby locations:
-
Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.
-
Alex Loche (@alexdn32) reported from Irchester, England@cornelius_mark @SkyHelpTeam @primevideosport It's due to the issues with the Sky Channels on BT's TV Platform. BT and Plusnet will be using the Now TV platform for the Sky Channels, but BT want them in HD and recordable via the TV guide. Sky engineers are having to sort it out because it's a sky software issue with Youview.
-
Craig Hawker (@CraigHawker) reported from Wellingborough, England@SimonDarksideJ I'm on plusnet. No issues whatsoever.
-
Dale Towers (@ddtowe) reported from Northamptonshire, England@plusnethelp are there problems with your service? My plusnet connection has been flakey for a while now and this morning had gone down twice already. NN3
-
Father Oliver Coss (@purgstallheath) reported from Northamptonshire, England@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

looms (@bloomtrader) reportedPlusnet is absolutely garbage no option to cancel online have to call them. Plus their website has been down for ages to even get that number. Joke.
-
NMP (@NDP2022) reported@Plusnet any chance of resolving my issue. Your company took £22.99 for a new account from me. No account created and long wait times each time I ring getting passed to other teams. Over 40 mins so far. I simply want a refund.
-
NMP (@NDP2022) reported@Plusnet Do not use this company. They take your money, don’t set up an account and fail to refund you when you provide your details. Customer service is non existent. EE have been amazing compared to this shower of a company.
-
Michael Briggs 🔬🏏🎸🐝🦔🍺🌱 (@MD_Briggs) reported@ArmchairAdml BT is dreadful tbh. Only found out that broadband has gone up - have really a bad rural service too - & they are charging £4/mo for a land line that I dont use. Got a better £20 deal from plusnet - called BT and told them to match it or I’m leaving - they matched it (nearly) 👍
-
Wendi Sheard (@WendiSheard) reported@Plusnet will you be answering the phone by 20.00? Or will I be disconnected as per voicemail? Is there an overall problem with the internet with you?

SteveHooker (also bluesky) 🇪🇺🔶 #FBPE 💙 #FBPA (@Steve_Hooker) reported@WeAreOpenreach please can someone help. Following a no show for an installation on Tuesday. Today’s engineer M group for OpenReach couldn’t get the full fibre running. Said that another engineer would come. No update yet and Plusnet help on phone could not give any help can you?
-
Jason (@btc8500) reported@Plusnet I’ve spoken to the team and they told me to change the channels on the router but the problem is you don’t actually supply hardware with the capability to do the speed over Wi-Fi. So unless I buy an adapter to my phones and tablets the speed is POINTLESS 😱😱
-
IMDANM (@IMDANM) reported@saltyy_savage Have a look at PlusNet, runs on the BT network without their awful pricing and terrible customer support (I’ll never use them again). Or look at one of the smaller fibre companies, I’m with a company called Squirrel and get 1GB up/down for £28 a month with no mid contract price increases.

Dish Dish (@DishSmichri) reported@DeviateDefiant @MoneySupermkt Go to Plusnet. Didn’t realise how **** Virgin broadband was until we switched. Great speeds, no dropping out
