Well,the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

BT and Plusnet will be using the Now TV platform for the Sky Channels, but BT want them in HD and recordable via the TV guide. Sky engineers are having to sort it out because it's a sky software issue with Youview.

The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didnβt give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

Internet speeds fall when contract is up for renewal, and not usually the speeds advertised anyway. I've been paying Β£35.99 a month for the slowest internet on the planet...
