Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Ripley and nearby locations:

  • ThisIsMahala Mahala (@ThisIsMahala) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England

Absolutely shocking customer service from @Plusnet Been trying to cancel mobile for a month but apparently insecurity to get through is my fault for not staying online in queue for hours or trying all day every day.

  • MichaelLeneha12 Michael Lenehan (@MichaelLeneha12) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England

@plusnethelp Plusnet I've just lost another 3 hours of work as your connection is down again...things happen no problem with this but I'm beginning to lose the faith in my Plusnet.

  • Saltbar Tony Barlow (@Saltbar) reported from Derbyshire, England

@BSLterplife @weebitchilly Plusnet have got a good reputation. I think it is the router letting you down. Powerline are good - only if your house electrics are wired up correctly and in good nick.

  • trevormiddleton Trevor Middleton (@trevormiddleton) reported from Heanor and Loscoe, England

@TheEddChina @Parky1919 @Plusnet @plusnethelp I have to say I've been with them for 18 years, and any problems I've had with the service have usually been down to Openreach, or the crumbling local infrastructure. As an IT consultant I've dealt with many other ISPs, most of whom have had similar issues.

  • HM_Dec90 Holly (@HM_Dec90) reported from Derbyshire, England

@Plusnet Hello, can you find out from your end what has caused my router to disconnect at least 3 times this morning, eventually restarting itself and now is completely red? Yes I can restart it manually but I am concerned about the frequency of the issue today. Thanks

  • MotionFramework Motion Framework (@MotionFramework) reported from Derbyshire, England

@Plusnet - Please tell me that things are going to get better? I just upgraded and all I get is errors connecting like my connection wasn't and is not even an upgrade. Rollercoaster.. very you and down.

@bt_uk Another engineer hasn't been arranged yet.. and we would very much like to before our phone line goes down TONIGHT.. Currently wasting yet more time waiting for the terrible customer service of Plusnet on the phone to see what they can do.. @OpenreachHelp

  • RodgerMeiklejo3 Rodger Meiklejohn (@RodgerMeiklejo3) reported

My friend is 82 years old we reported a fault to Plusnet on the 20 November. Her internet connection speed is now .3 well below the minimum allowed by law. Today New Years Eve Plusnet phoned to talk her through the problem. What a joke.

  • logurtion Cameron Logie (@logurtion) reported

    @Plusnet terrible wifi

@Maverick177uk @ricktaylor1987 Plusnet great , avoid Sky wish I’d never moved to them from plusnet.

  • lucyjkhan lucinda khan (@lucyjkhan) reported

@Plusnet It is now the 30th December and you have only just sent us a new router!!!!! 6 days after it was ordered. We have had to buy a new router this is the worst CS ever

  • JohnRog87839155 John Rogers (@JohnRog87839155) reported

@Plusnet Is the Internet down again in Ulverston, Cumbria? Nothing working in the house again, It has been awful over the last few months, our friends are having the same issues!

  • ianfieldhouse Ian Fieldhouse (@ianfieldhouse) reported

@MagicShrew @richardsmith01 I moved from PlusNet back in October and they were great for me, though we do have fibre to the cabinet at the end of my road. The problem with UK broadband—Virgin aside—is that they all use BT’s network. So if they have an issue it doesn’t matter who your provider is.

  • PRHat751 Peter Rawl (@PRHat751) reported

@plusnethelp Plusnet is poo. Case opened but nothing done. No signal, no customer service.

  • logurtion Cameron Logie (@logurtion) reported

@Plusnet if you can’t handle multiple devices using your service from a single household, you shouldn’t charge £41.50/month #solveit
