@MattNealRacing Try @Plusnet based in Sheffield,we have been with them for years with phone and broadband. Great company ,good deals to be had (including sim free mobile ) and customer service 1st class..Let me know how you get on please

@reynlord @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach Used to work for BT and this isn't even rare, they've done similar stuff to loads of people. Worst I had reported was the extention and hub they installed on someone's wheelie bin (in garage) so if they moved the bin the hub just hung in mid air.

@chrishallrides @virginmedia The only way you can "negotiate" a lower price is to cancel. Not threaten to cancel, you actually have to cancel. Then they ring you back with all these amazing deals they couldnt offer before. I gave up after 12 years and moved to Plusnet.
