@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

Got up to a desperate note on the kitchen table, Mrs is off work today and the internet is down. Reset the router and wifi extender, nada. Think it must be Plusnet. Sort it out, people!

Home from work. Factory reset the BT Smart hub, ran diagnostics, it says it's fine, internet unavailable. Ran the Plusnet diagnostic bot, it says the line's fine. Refreshed the connection. Done. Line is peachy it's your kit that's at fault. Did the router again. Still **** all.

@DemonTomatoDave @Plusnet Windy down my end, must have snagged a branch and pull something loose, coming to sort tomorrow, and seems to have calmed down on the disconnections, slow speed now though Unifi network setup, built in to the controller
