@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

@Plusnet If I order my upgrade for fibre extra online, does my new router get sent even though it seems to show on screen I've opted out of a replacement one? Tried calling -no answer and your chat bot tells me to call? (3+yrs customer)

Really @Plusnet @plusnethelp?? The automated message “please call back later today or tomorrow” that plays immediately when contacting you about issues with my broadband is incredibly frustrating. 12 times I called thru out yesterday&twice this morning.

@Plusnet Hey, any reason why I'm getting connection refused when trying to connect to your website from within my home network? I can get to it from outside, and a) yes I'm one of your customers, b) it's not DNS and c) I can't even connect to 212.159.9.2:443 via telnet

@winkleink @MikeBookham @virginmedia Yes, but you could get the new provider in place and then cancel Virgin. I have Plusnet fibre which is FTC and I am getting 35Mb/s, down and 7Mb/s, I have a server backing up to cloud, I’m working from home and kids are home schooling and it’s fine.

@Plusnet @plusnethelp I am slightly surprised having been you customer for the past few years to receive an email offering me a great renewal deal of just £26.99 a month - then checking your website to find new customers get a deal of £24.99 per month.

And now Plusnet refuse to replace my router as it’s “out of warranty”, well my contract isn’t, and without a working router, I can’t use your service, so I’ll be moving elsewhere, Pitiful customer experience yet again @MarcAllera
