I tried all those steps which are recommended on the PlusNet help forum but they didn’t sort it; I had to factory reset the router. Now all is OK - until the next time. On the forum PlusNet mention a solution they are rolling out - hopefully soon.

The line has been incorrectly set up and you need to cease and reconnect using the correct exchange. I've tried customer services and I don't know what options I have left.
