@BBCBenThompson actually spoke with @Plusnet yesterday as I was out of contact paying over the odds asked if I could have the "new customer" deal was basically told no even though I have been a customer for many years. So I've cancelled for a cheaper deal. #nodiscountforloyalty

@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

Anyone on here having trouble getting in touch with Plusnet, I know they are part of BT but up until now they have not been anywhere like the poor service usually given by BT when it comes to Broadband problems – until now!

@MeEncantaUk @Plusnet If they can fleece the disabled and leave a load off issues behind then they're not reputable enough for me.

@Plusnet what a disgraceful service. I was supposed to be swapping to Plusnet and my old provider was cut off only to find out my Plusnet account has been closed and I am left without broadband. It will take at least 10 working days for the service to be reinstated.

@Plusnet Thank you for asking. Yes after spending nearly 2 hours of trying to get through I eventually succeeded. Although the issue has far from been resolved.

@Plusnet I can see I’m apparently due to pay £3.14 for this month which I don’t really understand (not a huge problem) anyway you could just drop me a message to explain that?

@fineartskaty @Plusnet My activation was supposed to be today and I'm not gonna lie, Katy's tweet has really concerned me. Having no broadband for a substantial amount of time is not a good look for a new customer. I've sent a DM Plusnet, it's already waiting. 😞
