  • MilsDay Millie Day (@MilsDay) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@Plusnet Having trouble accessing the member centre having just had my new home phone set up. It loads and then disappears! Very frustrating!

  • Hallysworld Kris Hall (@Hallysworld) reported from Thame, England

@Plusnet hi, just wanted to check if you think 30 minutes is an acceptable time to be on hold for a fault? I reckon if I called for a new service I'd have been spoken to and completed my order by now.

  • GraemeCoates Graeme Coates (@GraemeCoates) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

@Plusnet I moved to another provider but you kept taking my direct debit for 4 months. I've been told multiple times I will get a refund, deadline today, but still nothing. Please can you help?

  • CaptJolly Roland Rodgers 😷💙 (@CaptJolly) reported

@supertanskiii The current Plusnet routers are pretty OK. Made by Sagemcom. Similar to last generation BT. There are many excellent replacements available. You do need to clarify whether you have issues with the *Router bit" or the "WiFi bit". You can add a better WiFi AP to your Plusnet

  • arundir Graham Mitchell 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺 (@arundir) reported

@supertanskiii I'm with Plusnet, had a problem with original router they sent years ago, gave me a replacement which is working well.

  • monsieurijh E (@monsieurijh) reported

@supertanskiii BT business Hub6, does 2.4ghz and 5ghz....got mine off ebay after a year of extremely bad plusnet router performance, and WOW, noticeably better in every aspect...setup instructions on plusnet forum under BT business hub👍👍

  • CenyddRoberts Cenydd Roberts (@CenyddRoberts) reported

@supertanskiii @Brizo751 I’m quite sure my Plusnet router is an anus router, given the claims about their performance and service.

  • zoe_engstrom zoe engstrom (@zoe_engstrom) reported

@Plusnet we’ve been with you since May. I am absolutely gutted that we signed up to this shower of an internet service. My whole family keeps their WiFi switched off on their mobile phones because you are not providing us with the service we signed up for.

  • MCY1X 💙 Michael of Sussex 🇬🇧🇮🇪🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈 (@MCY1X) reported

I’m leaving @Plusnet I told them last week Ever since then I’ve had problems with my #internet connection! It’s dropped out twice today already. Is #PlusNet vindictive? Funny how this has just started happening now.

  • MagnificoFigaro Masked Figaro (@MagnificoFigaro) reported

@supertanskiii Ours was shite too. Kept loosing wi-Fi on all devices. Its a known issue that the device switches between 2.4 and 5 ghz depending on range but fails and drops the device. Spoke to Plusnet and they talked me through disabling 5 ghz. After that haven’t had any problem.

  • RobCowham Rob Cowham 🇪🇺🇬🇧 #FBPE #FBPR (@RobCowham) reported

@supertanskiii I’ve been with Plusnet for a long time. Their routers are pretty poor. Try Netgear, they do router/modem combined. Always found they perform well. If you’re on fibre their Orbi system I superb thi gives you mesh’ Wi-Fi which negates the need for extenders

  • jeffpovey Jeff Povey (@jeffpovey) reported

@supertanskiii You buy nothing - I have @Plusnet too - contact them & @plusnethelp and they will probably send you a new router. The new “Hub One” is good. May also help to get a couple of Wi-Fi extenders, which I did, connect the extender to Plusnet and then extender “re-broadcasts” the signal
