Graeme Coates (@GraemeCoates) reported from Oxfordshire, England@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

Millie Day (@MilsDay) reported from Oxfordshire, England@Plusnet Having trouble accessing the member centre having just had my new home phone set up. It loads and then disappears! Very frustrating!

Kris Hall (@Hallysworld) reported from Thame, England@Plusnet hi, just wanted to check if you think 30 minutes is an acceptable time to be on hold for a fault? I reckon if I called for a new service I'd have been spoken to and completed my order by now.

Flower Pot (@FlowerP79667758) reported@WeAreOpenreach day 8 of no internet. The pavement was dug up and our internet connection stopped. Calls to Plusnet who arranged Openreach to come out yesterday to find the fault. Openreach came yesterday and identified there was a break in the wire that was caused when the pavement was dug up. I was informed that Openreach would be out today to dig a smaller hole and fix the break. My husband spoke to Plusnet who said Openreach would update Plusnet on the 13th May. There is clearly a breakdown in communication between Plusnet and Openreach. My expectation is that Openreach will be out today, as promised, and restore our connection to the internet. We are unable to use our laptops or IPads. Even our door bell is out of action. We do everything online and this is just not acceptable. Particularly as the engineer yesterday informed me yesterday that he could not understand why we had been kept waiting for so long as they did not like leaving people off line for very long. This is not acceptable. To add insult to injury Openreach did not inform us the pavement was being dug up and therefore we did not move our car. Our drive was blocked from 9 am to 4 pm.

Louislou🧓🏉 (@BrantLesley) reported@esp8687 Both of my children recommended Sky when my Plusnet (BT in disguise) ended and they were trying to force me to go to EE because we are only part fibre and Plusnet don't do it anymore. I anticipated issues but it was a totally smooth and easy

Jason (@btc8500) reported@Plusnet I’ve spoken to the team and they told me to change the channels on the router but the problem is you don’t actually supply hardware with the capability to do the speed over Wi-Fi. So unless I buy an adapter to my phones and tablets the speed is POINTLESS 😱😱

GeeMan (@Greymayce) reported@tina0402x The trouble is all other providers BT Plusnet etc apart from Virgin use the same cabling, be it copper or fibre it all comes from the exchange. I worked at BT and this was explained by an engineer in the training. Copper is being phased out.
