@BearNoiz @Plusnet Apparently, there is newer fibre available here from BT. Will look. The existing underground #virginmedia installation here remains untouched from when Bell cable media installed it 22 or 23 years ago. No wonder virgin have issues. #VirginMediaoutage #virginmediadown

@Plusnet Diabolical service , nearly 3 weeks without internet. No customer warning for so called “ planned work “ . Conflicting information regarding duration and reason for work . I think you should rebrand yourselves as Minusnet .

@ChristineK1968 Hi Christine, I'm sorry you've had problems reaching us by phone, which number did you call please? 500 from your mobile is the easiest one to reach us by. Feel free to send us a DM with your mobile number and I can advise how to cancel without calling. - Adam - Plusnet Sheffield

I've not been paid by either BT or Plusnet to tweet this. I'm just a customer who's sharing their experience.

@andrewwhyman Yeah, it's a pretty rural area. BT now aren't the ridiculous price they once were, especially exploiting new customer offers. Once billed £52/month for 25-30Mbps. Switched to PlusNet for £18/month after that. I'd happily upgrade now to a fibre package but I'd get the same speeds.
