Avoid Plusnet like the plague. Awful customer service.

  • GlennMillward G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Still absolute shocking WiFi speeds and customer service non-existent from #plusnet @plusnet don’t return calls exit fee when service not right from day 2. Useless and can not understand how they exist. Ombudsman next I think.

  • JazzColl Jazz Coll (@JazzColl) reported from London Colney, England

@SkyUK I switched to you for my broadband ~10days ago. Since then, internet is cutting out every 30mins or so. This never ever happened the prior year with Plusnet. Please fix! I cannot do my job with this connection.

  • B81Designs Bhavini Lakhani (@B81Designs) reported from Milton Keynes, England

@Dee_WkdCreative @DIFTK We’re with @Plusnet and honestly, just haven’t had it in me to kick arse today. Apparently there’s an issue with the earth cable?! Glad you’re ok!

  • amylouisecroftx Amy Croft 🐝 (@amylouisecroftx) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@Plusnet I need to get through to somebody urgently but the phone line won't connect me to anybody. Can someone help me on here please?

  • DarrenAltman Darren Altman (@DarrenAltman) reported from London Colney, England

@TafftheVoice @Plusnet Trouble is, they’re the fastest in the UK. 350 mb/s and we have a shot time of devices on the network now. 🥴

  • sayitrightltd Priya 🦖 (@sayitrightltd) reported from London Colney, England

Extremely disappointed by @Plusnet customer service. Unprofessional internet provider

  • louise_sarah Louise (@louise_sarah) reported from St Albans, England

Literally the worst internet company surely. Every day calls drop. I can never connect. And they do nothing to help. Roll on December when I can *finally* get out of this contract @Plusnet

  • edwardlui Edward Lui (@edwardlui) reported from Milton Keynes, England

@Plusnet is there a cancellation period? I’m out of contract for the last 2 years plus. Or what do I do to cancel as I’ve switched services but technically not as I wasn’t asked if I was leaving an old broadband service for new.

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • hantsbob Hantsbob (@hantsbob) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet after the appalling experience I’ve had with your service today, I will be moving to BT as soon as humanly possible. Thanks

  • AnthonyAshtoon Thee Djentleman (@AnthonyAshtoon) reported

@reynlord @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach Used to work for BT and this isn't even rare, they've done similar stuff to loads of people. Worst I had reported was the extention and hub they installed on someone's wheelie bin (in garage) so if they moved the bin the hub just hung in mid air.

  • 3zi090 J Peter (@3zi090) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet How many times do we have to phone to be paid £107 which you incorrectly took from us and then agreed to pay back. So tired of this appalling customer service. This is even with an ongoing complaint, you should be ashamed of this incompetence.

  • CJ59315408 CJ (@CJ59315408) reported

@Plusnet Yeah. My New Years resolution is to switch to a new provider as soon as my plusnet contract is up. Ideally, a new provider whose router doesnt have to rebooted at least three times a day ! Shite.

  • BECKS24 Becky (@BECKS24) reported

@Plusnet Need some assistance please. Your phone lines are closed and online chat down? My broadband has just gone off - the box is lit blue but states on devices that there is no internet connection.

  • ClassH12 ClassH (@ClassH12) reported

Can you help Plusnet. It's not the router etc as done all tests

  • PamillaBAV1 Crone(akaCorona)🤒Alone😷 (@PamillaBAV1) reported

@Louperb @TalkTalk @Plusnet I'm lucky with speed etc. Had an issue when it was off over a weekend early Nov but that was down to a **** up at the BT exchange

  • theheadofabroom Alistair Broomhead (@theheadofabroom) reported

@ephemeragrrl Hmm. Bad man! Why not set it up as a parallel network with a different SSID and then switch it over once everything is stable? That's what I did when we switched from Virgin to Plusnet, but then I guess Blue/Green deploys are a thing I pushed for back when I was still working.

  • IFrancis62 Ian (@IFrancis62) reported

@visitandtravel @bt_uk @Plusnet I do too. Other way to ask if they could hang on for a second and then leave them on the line

  • kennywhyte15 Kenny Whyte (@kennywhyte15) reported

@weareopenreach #auchterarder With NowTV FTTC. Want to move to Plusnet FTTC. Plusnet say they can't guarantee the transfer as there is capacity problems. I'm not upgrading as both will be the same speed. Is this correct?
