Well,the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

BT and Plusnet will be using the Now TV platform for the Sky Channels, but BT want them in HD and recordable via the TV guide. Sky engineers are having to sort it out because it's a sky software issue with Youview.

Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

Also today I have spent hours informing people of my new email address . As I have Starlink I was only using Plusnet for landline and email address anyway

Glen Barnett (@MisterToo) reported@Plusnet having taken a day off work to be here for an engineer and him not turning up (twice, on separate occasions), we were assured our fault was rectified, yet here we are again, internet disconnecting over and over This is shocking service. Asking me to call a number that does not help me and just gaslights me / lies to me each time is NOT the solution. Plusnet honouring its promises IS. Plusnet cannot be trusted and abuses its clients.
