@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

@AlexLewSec @Plusnet Looks like a nationwide outage, wouldn't take it personally

@bigcox Awful customer service. People in an offshore call centre who just follow scripts. It’s all Openreach infrastructure so I’d go with someone like Plusnet, same speeds but you get much better customer service if you need it.

@Plusnet PLEASE CAN YOU PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THE CURRENT NATIONWIDE OUTAGE! We work from home and rely on a stable internet connection. We need to be able to give our employers an update or at least an ETA for when this issue will be fixed, but all we get from PlusNet is silence!

Zero communication or update on @Plusnet website about the fact the network is clearly down across the UK- you can’t even get a dial tone when ringing their customer services either. What is going on?!
