Frequent outages, sometimes for hours at a time, painfully slow speeds when it does work, and it's impossible to get hold of you for help @Plusnet #plusnet

  • bairdyblues Bairdy 💙 (@bairdyblues) reported from Church Village, Wales

@cardiffstu @Gazman1927 They offered me £28 for 18mth contract. I pay £27 with Plusnet . In the 5 plus years I've been with them I've had no issues with service albeit the WiFi drops out occasionally but a router reboot sorts that.

  • 50shadesofcoch derw (@50shadesofcoch) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@purpperil @Plusnet @plusnethelp I had 4 msgs delivered today, all sent by sender yesterday. Not downloading emails, can't connect to Twitter - all they said was "nobody else has rung in with the same complaint". Offered 20p for "loss of service".

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jeskaowen Jeska (@jeskaowen) reported

@Plusnet disgraceful service, my 81 year old mum has no internet, hasn't had an for months yet you refuse to send an engineer and expect her to fix your broken tech. Definitely leaving your atrocious company.

  • G_plus_C Graham Cutress (@G_plus_C) reported

@Michael_Lacy1 @bt_uk I theoretically left BT for their sister company Plusnet, the deal was a worldie, 4 days into my notice period I had a friendly Geordie on the phone who not only beat it but sorted a number of things out from £63.49 (incl BT Sport and ****) down to £33.99

  • FarmerG5 Geraint Walters (@FarmerG5) reported

@OwsWills @martinjohnes @Plusnet We’re a bit further up and they’ve pretty much done where we are and making their way down I think? Just checked a random Armagh city postcode on the virgin website and says not available. Weird as there’s so many vans and engineers about

  • ultraman_ginger Twisted Tea Shep (@ultraman_ginger) reported

@rosstmiller Switched to Plusnet and they offered to set it up for me and call me back when it was done. Despite switching from cable to dial up, the speed is similar and it's much cheaper. They've been slower since lockdown, in fairness, but never had to call them.

  • Kryptic_Lion Honoris KrypticLion (@Kryptic_Lion) reported

Hey Internet, could you maybe not be broken so I can watch films and streams? Thank you (PS anyone else on plusnet having issues)

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@TheLilSquidge @TalkTalk @Plusnet I hear you, though if you look at my recent tweets/replies, you will see the cost of poor customer service, unreliable broadband, and, even, the breaking of regulations and inability to escalate problems caused by some number of customer account errors.. 1/2

  • MrPeterUnwin peter unwin 🇬🇧 (@MrPeterUnwin) reported

@plusnethelp Hi, thanks for responding. I am currently a (renewed) Plusnet customer. I was hoping to upgrade earlier this year, hence query. Code EH10 7HU No. 65. (Openreach installed to this area last year). Regards,

  • JaredRandall9 Jared Randall (@JaredRandall9) reported

@plusnethelp Plusnet has got to be the worst broadband providers out there, absolutely awful. Would never recommend them to anyone.

  • bluesbarbers Wendy KL Martini 🌈🇬🇧 (@bluesbarbers) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp worse customer service still!! Switch to fibre & they admitted forgetting to post modem but cut off my broadband no internet for a week & I need it for my job!! have to wait another week Still won’t send one out next day say I have to buy one elsewhere FFS

  • OwsWills Owen Williams 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@OwsWills) reported

Question for TV experts: My in-laws want to change their broadband/TV/phone provider. My FIL wants Sky Sports. Is signing-up to Sky or NOW the only way to get Sky Sports? In other words, I can't put them on @Plusnet and add a Sky Sports service? What's cost-effective? TYVM!
