  • PhillGray
Phill Gray (@PhillGray) reported from York, England

@thejimirving @PostOffice I was in a few weeks ago, and two poor old dears were just so confused. WHSmith staff didn’t care less about helping them. What a travesty to lose the beautiful York branch in Lendal to this WHSmith store

  • BarbadosStamps
Barbados Stamps (@BarbadosStamps) reported from York, England

@NPhilatelics @PostOffice Is it just me, or are the Northern Ireland definitives lacking any kind of identity? It’s easy to pick the other countries out, but N.I. looks like it was designed by someone who’s never been there.

  • thejimirving
Jim Irving (@thejimirving) reported from York, England

Thanks @PostOffice for another truly horrific experience in the jumble sale that is @WHSmith in York. Had to fight through the clutter to get to the back. Awful place.

  • thejimirving
Jim Irving (@thejimirving) reported from York, England

@PostOffice There are literally customers kneeling on the floor to find space to put stamps on letters. WHSmith can address the obstacles that prevent customers getting to the Post Office, but it was an @PostOffice decision to close the Crown Post Office without a thought to service users.

  • Carl19692
Carl (@Carl19692) reported from York, England

@thejimirving @WHSmith @PostOffice Only been in there once...... Never again.

  • Annflem11
Ann fleming (@Annflem11) reported from Askham Richard, England

@PostOffice @EmilyTu33337173 See price changes from April, 1st class has gone down and 2nd up. You really should know this if you are advising customers.

  • MattWalls99
Matt (@MattWalls99) reported from York, England

@Matthew97725434 @PostOffice No it’s not. It’s been made illegal. They won’t knock first when they beat down your door to take you off to prison 🤗

  • MattWalls99
Matt (@MattWalls99) reported from York, England

@donnantwich @Shaaaang5 @PostOffice Like I said, I’m flattered, but I’m really not interested. Your rather poor attempts at flirting are just being wasted.

  • DeExilio
Ștefan Iaonco (@DeExilio) reported from Copmanthorpe, England

A key issue in today’s Court of Appeal @PostOffice judgment is that PO - like some other bodies like HSE or RSPCA - acts as a Private Prosecutor. Given emerging issues with the Horizon IT system, it is more likely that a police/ @cpsuk investigation would not have led to charges

  • andygee007
Andrew Gorton (@andygee007) reported from Riccall, England

@PostOffice broadband is as bad as the customer service! No callback from a manager, cutoff when being transferred to customer service and charging me to leave for broadband that drops everyday - I know there is nothing you can do as it’s @TalkTalk provided

  • JuneTranmer
June4Guildhall (@JuneTranmer) reported from York, England

@stealth_edition @minsterfm @CityofYork @YorkGreens @PostOffice @WHSmith No one is blaming the drivers. Of course it's the Post Office. And the Council needs to set parameters when they can drive down Coney St. Same as the rest of the population. Not all day every day.

@Suej1959 @PostOfficeNews @PostOffice So you are saying that they should somehow know it's important and prioritise it over somene who has paid for a better service?. Maybe shows your sense of entitlement more than anything else.

@PostOffice Yes, you can upgrade a Freepost item to "Signed For" (recorded delivery) by taking it to a Post Office counter and paying the additional fee. While the recipient usually pays for Freepost, you pay to upgrade the service for extra tracking paying only for the recorded service upg
