@stealth_edition @minsterfm @CityofYork @YorkGreens @PostOffice @WHSmith No one is blaming the drivers. Of course it's the Post Office. And the Council needs to set parameters when they can drive down Coney St. Same as the rest of the population. Not all day every day.

@PostOffice There are literally customers kneeling on the floor to find space to put stamps on letters. WHSmith can address the obstacles that prevent customers getting to the Post Office, but it was an @PostOffice decision to close the Crown Post Office without a thought to service users.

Asked for a Manager to call me to explain how their finance processes allowed this to happen and was told that ‘due to WFH for covid, no manager @PostOffice has the ability to call a customer’ WOW! Pretty nervous about what their finance compliance / processes could be like!

Package marked return to sender as “not collected” Logic shows the issue is it was delivered to a postoffice different to the one where it’s addressed but apparently the issue is “You closed your PO Box in April”…..at a post office I have never had a PO Box 🧐 Waiting for Aupost

For the responsibility, risk, knowledge and service provision postmasters provide, even with this they are still paid a pittance compared to hundreds of directly employed staff

@PostOffice went post office yesterday, I asked for 48 hours Royal Mail tracked instead I was charged and given 48 hours parcel force tracked. Terrible
