@PostOffice so annoyed just visited your branch WHSmiths in Norwich st Stephens . In a rush a long queue and all 5 self service queues closed . All I wanted was some stamps to post a parcel . 😖

  • manek43509 Kit Marsden (@manek43509) reported from Trowse Newton, England

village shop with @PostOffice inside. Go to post a parcel and buy some stamps. ‘Sorry, the Post Office is closed!’ ‘But I just walked in! And you just served a customer!’ ‘Yes, the shop is open, but the Post Office closes at twelve.’ What’s the difference?

  • DougUnderwood4 Doug Underwood (@DougUnderwood4) reported from Wymondham, England

@PostOffice I see your complaints procedure is just as inefficient as your postal service. 3 complaints from me now, with an escalation on Friday to stage 2, with 4 hour response, and nothing from you. Rubbish service.

  • brown_anderson Robert A-Brown (@brown_anderson) reported from Wicklewood, England

@PostOffice The teller was averaging 1 customer every 5 minutes

  • MartinJHughes Martin Hughes (@MartinJHughes) reported

@PrivateEyeNews @mnimnh Needs a judge led inquiry. Some people in the #PostOffice must have known these sub-postmasters were innocent and that the problem was their #Horizon computer system as the number of cases mounted.

  • VolunteeringSu1 Volunteering Survivor (@VolunteeringSu1) reported

Time to step up now @PostOffice. No matter what it costs, put it right as best you can. Compensate these people for ANYTHING they have lost as a result of this. Careers, homes, reputations. You did it, so fix it.

  • Mayo_GodHelpUs Mol (@Mayo_GodHelpUs) reported

@PostOffice Huge thank you to the person that sorted this for me btw and he doesn't work for the Post Office or Shell Oil. Shell Oil? Like WTF?

  • Dowellenough Julien Burcher (@Dowellenough) reported

@davidallengreen @JudiciaryUK @PostOffice I wish you could read the email I got from Stephen...he made 4 applications for disclosure in the Misra case c2010. Every time = application turned down. Expert evidence freaks courts in my experience but that’s no excuse for this presumption being discovered to be erroneous now?

  • No_Salad Dave Owen (@No_Salad) reported

@davidallengreen @JudiciaryUK @PostOffice It just seems amazing that they simply believed that a significant number of their sub-postmasters were stealing substantial sums of money and that they'd just never noticed it before this system was introduced.

  • WriterDanSoule Daniel Soule (@WriterDanSoule) reported

@PostOfficeNews @PostOffice You've wasted over a decade & had to be forced by the courts to make this right. What rank moral core allows this to happen? When the problem was identified, why didn't you simply expidite paying back everyone & facilitated their exhortation?

  • MoleyMole01 Moley𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕖 (@MoleyMole01) reported

@OTooleyAuthor @law_and_policy @PostOffice That sums it up. I’ve always seen the post office as a national asset being undermined by couriers creaming away the easy lucrative stuff, but this stinks of disgraceful decision making. Hard management is never good management, but it’s indefensible when it’s blatant deceit.

  • cholten99 David Durant (@cholten99) reported

@steveparks What gets my about the terrible #Horizon debacle is that it isn't just the @PostOffice senior managers who have sat on the truth of this for decades. There must be any number of their technical people who must have known the truth of what happened but, AFAIK, no whistle blowers.

  • graham_driver Graham Driver (@graham_driver) reported

@ch1pme1ster @PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Her name is Paula Vennells. CEO of the Post Office until Feb 2019. Awarded a CBE and is an Anglican minister - obviously a very poor Christian.

  • BpsmithUk Bryan Smith #RejoinEU (@BpsmithUk) reported

@rEUnion_PartyUK @Fujitsu_Global @PostOffice Well, the Horizon software was singled out as culpable due to the bugs & errors by the judge, so it was the reason for the accounting errors. The Post Office is culpable because it covered them up, denied they happened & pushed for prosecuton despite knowing.
