Atrocious service at local @PostOffice as for cheapest 2nd class postage. Tried to tell me cheapest service was £15 on something and when questioned miraculously found a service for £8. How is that OK, if I’d not questioned it I’d have paid well over the odds.

The options are Special Delivery - tracked & signed & guaranteed next day, which is £9.95 or Signed for, 1st class which is £3.80 or 2nd class £2.77. PO clerk will have asked questions to determine which service the customer meant

@PostOffice Haha,no wonder the post office has become useless, you can't even do IT. BTW your ad featuring the African family with a white wife is grossly offensive, and I won't be using post office for anything never mind insurance if I can possibly help it. #gowokegobroke

Especially when if we are lucky we get only three actual deliveries a week. Often down to just two most weeks @RoyalMail @PostOffice

@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice I am hundred percent sure, that it could be a few penny’s difference but it could never be 11 pounds. Your item might be weighing more than what you have entered online. Its expensive no doubt but dont make it up to 11 quids.

Unlike my experiences with @PostOffice and @WilliamHill who fought me every single step, refused to apologise, and never properly fixed their mistakes, at least Sky has shown a real difference. This highlights how some companies seem to think they’re above the law, above being challenged, and completely unaccountable for their actions and decisions. Importantly, it’s not about companies always giving in or admitting the customer is right every single time sometimes the customer can be wrong. But when the customer has clear evidence that proves their side of the story beyond reasonable doubt, it shouldn’t be difficult for a company to simply say: “Yes, we made a mistake here’s your full payout.” Take the £5.75 @WilliamHill owed/owes me but refused and still refusing to pay properly they should have just admitted the error and fixed it. Why do some companies struggle so much to be honest and say sorry when things go wrong? It doesn’t have to end in long adjudication processes or court battles. Disputes should be settled fairly and quickly through agreement, not turned into fights.

@RepCasten Also help to pay the fee for expedite service? Otherwise, if not then I think my township office or postoffice provide same services and I will get pp in 2 weeks.

@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice i had a similar experience once at National Express Coach Office. The online price was a fraction of the price if i'd bought the same ticket from the office. The person behind the counter was rude, as well

@katiegilchrist @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Bet you be the first to moan if needed compensation from the courier and hadn’t paid for the service that covers your items
