Post Office Issues Reports Near Hythe, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hythe and nearby locations:

  • JulesFM Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England

@PostOffice After Amzn repeatedly sending stock responses teaching me how to use pickup locations, I finally got their "the customer is well pissed off" stock response, which asked me to call them. I've explained in words of 1 syllable & they are going to look into it. Will let you know!

  • rahim94 Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

@_bowandarrows_ @PostOffice meh... I'm done with them. there's bigger issues atm as you've probably seen recently

  • Brynwales Bryn Jones🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈 (@Brynwales) reported from East Cowes, England

    @coldhardfacts7 @PostOffice @DVLAgovuk Richard I asked a question I didn't require abuse #idiot

  • destinationroms Romsey Town Council (@destinationroms) reported from Romsey, England

We have used this service at #Romsey @PostOffice fantastic service from fab staff

  • JulesFM Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England

@PostOffice They still show as an option, but when you select that particular one it then fails to appear as where you want it delivered to. Not just me, happens to others too. Other POs seem fine (e.g. Portswood down the road).

  • ShellLovesCats Shell. Ice Skating Is The Best (@ShellLovesCats) reported from Lymington, England

@PostOffice is there a known issue with post office broadband? Went down half hr ago, comes back briefly few mins at most with weak signal then gone again

  • PipRichardson Pip Richardson (@PipRichardson) reported from Southampton, England

@PostOffice seriously can’t believe you are not allowed to lend pens out to customers because of #COVID__19 . #gooddeedforday just lent another customer my pen! She was so grateful ... #littiethings that matter !

  • RachaelNPink 💕 (@RachaelNPink) reported

@PostOffice Am I able to renew an old provisional using this service?

  • fvandervorst Ferry van der Vorst (@fvandervorst) reported

@PostOffice @whsmith what's the point of PO self-service machines if staff tells customers they can't use them as they're too short-staffed to deal with returned parcels via machines & assist clients. One person to deal with both machines & F2F clients clearly insufficient.

  • Barnacules Barnacules Nerdgasm ™️ (@Barnacules) reported

@ericlacasse @RetroBoxRoom @PostOffice God damn our governments are evil doing this **** 😡

  • LaurFou1 Cllr Laurence Fouweather 🔶 (@LaurFou1) reported

@OxfordCity @PostOffice This is because the PO is in the Co-Op in Summertown and its the Co-op that's closing. I've spoken to local shops and the issue is the PO contract that they insist on. This makes it almost impossible for small shops to make a profit from it. Supermarkets won't give up floorspace

  • siany_d Siâny D (@siany_d) reported

@PostOffice But not for much longer as another service gets taken away...

  • MrTodd91 Jamie Todd (@MrTodd91) reported

@Goal_Mass @PostOffice @WHSmith They shut down a fully functioning one which was there for yrs and served its purpose, nothing in that city gets what it deserves. The mp for Truro can’t even back a stadium which would put the cities football side back in the city. The place isn’t half what it used to be.

  • BuddingPotter Sophie (@BuddingPotter) reported

@PostOffice morning. Just wondering if you could tell me if I can pay in old round pound coins still? I was under the impression I could but just had problems in my local branch!

  • KateJon41196503 Lady Kate the Plate (@KateJon41196503) reported

@SammyJAvis @PostOffice One of the problems is that PO Ltd pay us by transaction not an hourly rate. So putting an extra member of staff on quite often means that that Post Office will lose money. It’s a catch 22 & a dilemma we wish we weren’t in.

  • Mountain_Tsu ТSUКUЛΞ💚 (@Mountain_Tsu) reported

LOOOOL never thought my second Suit would make it here for EF. I can pick it up at the postoffice on monday. Hopefully i dont have to change the size…

  • bobbybewl Bobby Bewl (@bobbybewl) reported

@KateJon41196503 @PostOffice @coopuk Thank you Kate. Delay was the time being taken by two customers for reasons unknown. Royal Mail van was waiting outside After my phone call to the manager I went back in and the counter clerk was dealing with the post. I fail to see why the manager could not take over the counter
