-
Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England@PostOffice They still show as an option, but when you select that particular one it then fails to appear as where you want it delivered to. Not just me, happens to others too. Other POs seem fine (e.g. Portswood down the road).
-
Jules Field (@JulesFM) reported from Southampton, England@PostOffice After Amzn repeatedly sending stock responses teaching me how to use pickup locations, I finally got their "the customer is well pissed off" stock response, which asked me to call them. I've explained in words of 1 syllable & they are going to look into it. Will let you know!

Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice @ellaloui_se Surely it depends on what the stated weight, actual weight and service used is? EG. If the parcel was 2nd class and both stated weight and actual weight were in the right price bracket (for example both under 2kg), would it actually matter as the price would be the same anyway?
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice You sure about that? Seeing as I work in a PO that also does the Check & Send service. The help pages on Horizon, combined with the training workbook and the booklet supplied with the form directly contradicts your statement. Even when renewing online, they still ask for photos.
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@wweLovatic4ever @PostOffice Sounds like a scam. Royal Mail would never ask you to pay £1.99 for redelivery. They would have left a card if there was a parcel that couldn't be delivered.
-
Pip Richardson (@PipRichardson) reported from Southampton, England@PostOffice seriously can’t believe you are not allowed to lend pens out to customers because of #COVID__19 . #gooddeedforday just lent another customer my pen! She was so grateful ... #littiethings that matter !
-
The Dead Pigeon Society) (@DeadPigeonSoc) reported from Fareham, England@UBn9ohogz0XOFWP @PostOffice Totally agree!! Seriously bad and ill thought out advertising tactics from the Post Office! 😡
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@samrogersphotos @PostOffice Second class tracked is a service that doesn't exist, that's why. You have 2nd class signed for, which is not tracked but gives you confirmation of delivery. The other service that vaguely resembles your request is Tracked 48, which you cannot buy in a PO anyway.
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice The reality is that there is no service that guarantees delivery in 24 hours on Parcelforce International services. Even before the pandemic, such a vision is impossible. If you read Parcelforce's website, it says delivery is from the next working day, not delivered the next day.
-
Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England@_bowandarrows_ @PostOffice meh... I'm done with them. there's bigger issues atm as you've probably seen recently
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice He’s talking about online returns, not labels purchased from the Click & Drop service.
-
Shell. Ice Skating Is The Best (@ShellLovesCats) reported from Lymington, England@PostOffice is there a known issue with post office broadband? Went down half hr ago, comes back briefly few mins at most with weak signal then gone again
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@_EmmaBeswick @PostOffice I may be able to help you out. A tracking no. would only be available on International Tracked & Signed or International Tracked services. Usually the tracking no. would start with RN or LB or similar. The French courier would be La Poste.
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice @marcball90 If it's a Royal Mail service, the max compensation is £250. For certain Parcelforce services, it can go up to £2500 but be prepared for a hefty price tag.
-
Keith Mitchell (@KeithMitchell_) reported from East Cowes, EnglandTravelling need to redirect mail from a temporary address at end of redirecting period on line @PostOffice and @RoyalMail #CustomerService appalling can’t help me complete waste of time
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@RichieTheFruit @PostOffice I think the PO should clarify that statement a little bit more. They can accept Tracked 24/48 if they are returns to online retailers ie. Amazon, H&M etc. but it’s only the Tracked 24/48 that specifically comes from RM’s Click & Drop service which can’t be accepted at a PO.
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice I only jumped in to that thread as you were implying to the customer that it was possible to do such a thing when every counter clerk in the country will tell you the exact opposite. Unless, by postage labels, you meant buying postage labels online which would annoy all clerks.
-
Philip Woods (@Philip471) reported from Shanklin, England@PostOffice No problem. Adding to my earlier point, the last posting date for surface to USA/Canada was more than 2 weeks ago. If the customer wanted to send Xmas cards that way, it wouldn't have got there until after Xmas/January. May be worth bearing in mind before talking to that branch.

Bryn Jones🏴🇬🇧🇪🇺🏳️🌈 (@Brynwales) reported from East Cowes, England@coldhardfacts7 @PostOffice @DVLAgovuk Richard I asked a question I didn't require abuse #idiot

Obsydiak (@TwitchObsydiak) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice I'll take "**** that never happened but we'll pretend did for attention because I likely did something stupid, got told off for it and am now a salty Karen"....for 3 please Bob
-
ZackO-B🇮🇪🇮🇪 (@_AFCZOB_) reported@lily_lna @twasthentisnow @PostOffice lol it’s so ridiculous to say to a customer I assumed u must’ve been an employee
-
Freeborn Freddy 🏴 (@FreebornFreddy) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice BS They said **** off ****!
-
Cher 🇬🇧 (@calamity911) reported@lily_lna @twasthentisnow @PostOffice Wow. That's a different matter. It's inappropriate for work. But for a customer, it's non of their business.
-
Steveski Clarke (@SteveskiClarke) reported@LeilaniDowding @lily_lna @PostOffice Given that it's a customer FACING position, who's going to actually see it? And who would find that dress offensive anyway? This is about pandering to Islam again, isn't it?
-
Butcher Billy #ENICOUT (@crypt0n1te0180) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice Ah hah, you're a customer, now it makes sense
-
GirlScout27 (@GirlScout27) reported@Irmenberga @lily_lna @PostOffice I've worked in pubs where we've refused service to men in shorts and no shirt. This is common practice and absolutely nothing to do with religion. I support the principle that business owners can refuse service, and they legally can.
-
thefierychef (@thefierychef) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice How about the Post Office f*ck off! And pay the compensation due to wrongly convicted postmasters! Need to be taken back in government ownership! Worst ever decision privatising the Post Office. Great dress by the way 👍
-
DB (@kpasamd) reported@lily_lna @PostOffice Wear wtf you want, everyone else seems to. Maybe loose cotton clothing would keep you cooler in the future though?
-
Redhead80 (@HairOfFlames) reported@lap33 @PostOffice @lily_lna She wasn't at work, she went in to the shop as a customer and they wouldn't serve her
