  • Neeknowsbest Kim (@Neeknowsbest) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Took some old notes to local main Post Office to be told you no longer exchange them, or allow them to be paid into bank account. No wonder Post offices are closing all the time. No longer offering a service to the community.

  • annief1 Anne 🌻💙💛 (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I would also like to point out. The staff really should make people aware of this. The assistant (female) not the older lady, is rude too. I don't live here but my daughter in law does, and assistant is always rude.

  • annief1 Anne (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Thank you. I have worked for a PO, I used to run one in the 90s. . I am also trained in Customer care. There is nothing wrong with chatting at work. But the customer comes first. You don't chat to another colleague, about something irrelevant whilst serving. Thank you.

  • adric_warth Adric Warth (@adric_warth) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I feel really really let down & will be lodging a complaint. Please can you provide the phone number for you complaints department

  • annief1 Anne (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Absolutely appalling customer service, IN Didcot PO today. The one inside Whsmith. .. Serving me and discussing the Christmas Party they can't, have with colleague! Always time for this after but not during service. Customers come first. 😱. #postoffice

  • adric_warth Adric Warth (@adric_warth) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I spoke to The staff at WH Smith where the post office is located & they were surprised when they closed at 1. I then went to the Royal Mail depot to see if they could help & they weren’t even aware that it had closed at 1, as far as they knew it was still open

  • CerneyK Cerney Kilbee (@CerneyK) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@PostOffice over a week now since a significant amount of money was taken from my bank account by a direct debit that was never set up. I’ve called about 5 times since then and still my money has not been returned.

  • LabLinda75 Linda Smith (@LabLinda75) reported from Oxfordshire, England

Alarmed to hear Martins newsagent in Blackbird Leys Rd will be shutting next month & with it the local Post Office. I hope @PostOffice secure another premises locally, I've asked @OxfordCity to support in our role as freeholder for the shops & partner in district centre rebuild.

  • geoffalbwalker Geoff Walker (@geoffalbwalker) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice Thankfully there’s been a constant on going report by the brilliant journalists @PrivateEyeNews highlighting the failures. Justice at last over poor leadership and poor computer systems.

  • joshuaethan1 Janet H #handsfacespace (@joshuaethan1) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice Oh I know this is so bad these poor people I feel desperate for them. Being accused when all along it was the system. They have had their lives ruined. Terrible. I hope they get justice

  • frommycloud Philippa (@frommycloud) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice Good luck to them, hopefully a travesty of justice will be put right, though sadly they will never get those years of worry back.

  • susanstewart20 susan stewart (@susanstewart20) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice Heard this lengthy saga on radio 4 BBC. Flabbergasted. Worst nightmare, to be sent to prison for something you didn't do. Disgusting cover up.

  • gospeloak8 MJ Post Office Victim seeking Justice (@gospeloak8) reported

@frommycloud @RevRichardColes @PostOffice Or family time my family did not support me sadly ...

  • Tracytillybean Tracy brinson (@Tracytillybean) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice This is one of the worst situations that caused severe distress, unnecessary shame on innocent people providing a service to the community because the post office preferred to trust a computer system rather than long serving sun postmasters - it was disgraceful

  • nicospence23 Nick Spence (@nicospence23) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice Absolutely terrible scandal this and unfortunately widely under-reported. Good description of it in @PrivateEyeNews podcast.

  • DolindolineH Helen Silvera (@DolindolineH) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice This is an absolutely heartbreaking story for those poor employees who lost everything. Once again, lack of scrutiny led to this. One wonders what happened to common sense and, oh yes! evidence.😡😡😡

  • RamageKatharine Katharine Ramage (@RamageKatharine) reported

@RevRichardColes @PostOffice I am so pleased they were finally found innocent. I followed the case within interest since all financial computer systems can create errors like that. I have had some in school finance systems!.
